ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
I think that's more the case, and there's little advertising of it as a resultThe clubs don't get (publicly) excited about it either. If it were like the UEFA CL and clubs made squillions from participating it'd be a different thing. Our clubs are relatively poor so it's just another expense (...and we're at a massive financial disadvantage).

This friday!It's official http://www.footballaustralia.com.au...isplay/Arnold-confirmed-as-Vegalta-boss/78266
I just hope we get a chance to say sayonara
While the game between Moss’s Mariners and Muscat’s Melbourne ought to excite fans, the game will also provide Central Coast aficionados with the opportunity to wish the Club’s former Head Coach Graham Arnold a fond farewell.
At half time of the encounter between the two successful sides the Mariners will make a special presentation to Arnold to recognise his contribution to the Club.
While Arnold is not set to leave Australia to commence his role with J-League outfit Vegalta Sendai until January, Central Coast Mariners Group General Manager, Mr Peter Turnbull, said it is appropriate to honour Arnold at the first available opportunity.
“Graham Arnold has made a telling contribution to the future and history of our football Club,” Turnbull said. “We think it is only fitting that - while Graham’s move to Japan is still fresh - we recognise his amazing accomplishments during his time with the Club.”
Arnie said in his interview with Scott McIntyre that he could bring in 1 staff member. If JC goes as well, we're going to be facing Significant Challenges.
Given that there seemed to be a carefully thought out takeover plan in place for the coaching gig, I wonder whether similar thoughts were given to the other management roles. Let's face it, now that it's happened, Clarkey leaving was inevitable. I'd be surprised that there was no post-Clarkey plan being worked on for the last 12 months. At the very least, I'd hope that he has trained others in the "Andrew Clarke Method".
