ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I’d like to see a very similar starting side to the weekend, maaaaaybe drop Alou but tonight could build his confidence, flog these blokes then make some subs early second half.

Have to keep momentum going and continue to build the confidence for the league games.

League game is massive at the weekend. We dont know how the injuries to Paull and to a lesser extent Kaltak have fared this week.
I'd expect to see Smith, Paull if hes fit, maybe Doka but I feel he is slipping down the peckimg order. Ditto DWH.
Agree - chuck Reec in up top if nothing more than to motivate Alou. Can always hook him if its not working

There’s enough football left in the a-league season to try and secure top spot tonight and still make top 6.

The additional coverage and sponsorship opportunities (plus more than likely bonus payments from current sponsors) makes topping the group vital.

Go hard tonight I reckon.

send the kids to play the laguna in a fortnight with extended minutes for the fringe players.

Absolutely this - go hard tonight and win the group. Lighter squad to travel in a fortnight.

One thing I think is valuable is another chance for the starting 11 to gel.

Terengganu should be *easier* than a-league opposition, although they'll throw everything into this to stay in it.
I'd go a mostly first 11, give a break to 1 or 2 usual starters. If we get far enough ahead then take 5 key starters off for a break earlier than later.

Winning this game will make a bigger difference later when we can take a string of youth and reserves overseas for the final dead rubber group match

Any updates on the game? I’d usually leave shortly but not keen to hit the roads if game cancelled/postponed.
