For all the possession they had, I rarely felt worried by them. CCM were clearly off their game (most likely as a result of the travel etc) and yet still came away with a result. We should be optimistic about next weekend's return leg...

Very poor performance but we take a draw from that, only thing that concerns me out of this is the final is somewhere over there in the Middle East so we’re gonna have to perform better then that and other overseas games if we’re going to win the whole thing, because we won’t have the luxury of oh yeah we’ll get a result at home then, but first focus is winning next week then we can worry about that

Well that was dire in the extreme. Can't blame the pitch, as the Usbeks had no trouble. Travel a factor. But many poor performances tonight. The turnover rate was horrendous. Our forward line is our big weakness. Zero creativity there. But their service was awful. Nizzy looked very tired. So close to nicking a win. Do away goals count for anything? I think we might struggle with the return leg due to fatigue.

Going to be tough 2nd leg given they dont play this weekend and we play on Sunday. How good they are on the ball compared to us on such a good pitch that ours is a concern. Take a draw though how bad we played.

We were way off our ceiling and the pitch hurt us way more than them. Yes a better pitch will be good for them too but not as much as us, and I think they’ll struggle with us at full pace compared to whatever that was tonight.

If you’ve played on fields like that with any sort of frequency you’ll be much more used to them. Even when Suncorp or Macarthur looked like shit I don’t think we had a pitch playing the way that did. Add in the travel as well and I can see how we struggled to adapt

I think you'd be foolish to not see their was a game plan by Kunt tonight, which they exploited well ( that being said they did the same thing vs the Taipei side the ministered last game)

Press a jetlagged team in to coughing up posession in weak positions, remove the technical advantage by playing on a shocking pitch.

We walk away with the draw, it will hurt them more than us

Game 3pm Sunday. Absolutely monstrous schedule.

So they have lost 14 hours of rest and recovery
