Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Got mine today. Looks like good value. Should be able to get a spot close to my usual season ticket posse.

Called Miles in the office this morning to ask what we should do if we don't get the forms by today's mail. He said that he could fax/email the form to us to fill out and fax back to him by the 18th.

Since the tickets aren't sold through ticketek this time, does anyone have any idea whether or not there is a limit to the amount of tickets one member can purchase for a single game?

My wife and I both got our letters for the three for the price of three ACL packages... does anyone know the answer to the following questions...

1) Can you go to Ticketek and show the letter to but the tickets  or does it have to be posted to the club?

2) How many tickets can you buy with each membership ?

Somebody correct me if they've heard different, but I rang the CCM office last week and my interepretation of what I was told was only members can get the the "three match pass for the price of two" deal (i.e. one per membership).

The letter also says general tickets go on sale through Ticketek on 21/02/2009

Media Release

Secure your historic seats from Friday

Tickets to the Central Coast Mariners AFC Champions League 2009 Group H fixtures at Central Coast Stadium will go on sale to the general public at 9am tomorrow (Friday, 20 February), when Mariners supporters from far and wide will first have the opportunity to secure their seats for the yellow and navys landmark first continental tilt.

Existing Mariners members have already been distributed information on how to take advantage of their exclusive members only offer for the AFC Champions League, but for all other Mariners supporters the best way to ensure your presence at all Mariners AFC Champions League matches at Central Coast Stadium is to purchase the 3-day pass.

The 3-day pass secures entry to each of the Mariners Group H fixtures at Central Coast Stadium for 15% less than the cost of three individual match day tickets.

For individual matches, tickets for adults start at $17, concessions at $13, children at $7 and families of two adults and two children at $41.

The Mariners maiden Asian quest begins with a blockbuster home fixture against Korean FA Cup winners Pohang Steelers on Wednesday, 11 March, before the yellow and navy progress north to the near freezing cold of Chinas east coast and the challenge of Tianjin Teda.

J.League heavyweights Kawasaki Frontale will be the second team to visit Central Coast Stadium, with the group favourites and continental giants to battle with the Mariners on Wednesday, 8 April.

The Mariners will then take on Kawasaki at their Kawasaki Todoroki Stadium home in late April and continue on to Korea to face Pohang at the Steelyard in early May before returning to Central Coast Stadium to host Tianjin Teda on Tuesday, 19 May.

Kick off for the first of the Mariners AFC Champions League 2009 Group H matches at Central Coast Stadium is at 8pm, with gates opening at 7pm, while the Mariners final two matches will kick off at 7.30pm with gates opening at 6.30pm.

From 9am on Friday, 20 February, tickets will be available for purchase from any Ticketek outlet, from the Ticketek website www.ticketek.com.au, or via phone on 132 849.

"We encourage all Mariners supporters to secure their seats for what will be three historic occasions in the history of our club and the Central Coast region," said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.

"The AFC Champions League presents our club, our members and our supporters with an opportunity to experience the unique and worldly culture that only football is capable of providing.

"Were very pleased with the affordable ticketing options that we have been able to offer for the AFC Champions League and look forward to experiencing all that Asia has to offer with our members and supporters at Central Coast Stadium in the coming months."
