Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

leilei gao is a very good player, wellington phoenix are really building themselves a decent squad for next year, great recruitment it looks promising for them.

no chance jedinak would permanently move to sheffield. not in the next year or two anyway. off-season loan at best.

Hope you're right there. It is only a 442 rumour ATM

rumour is started by a tard - they're the only ones who call us 'central'. probably wishful thinking.

Some Theories (these arent necessarily 442 or other rumors)

- Ljubo to the Scum
- Santalab to QLD or the scum (if he is off contract)
- Gumps possibly to Perth to replace Colosimo or to the Scum to replace monkeyboy (if he hasnt already signed for QLD)

jedinak to sheffield united [ 442 RUMOUR]

Mile Jedinak will go on loan to sheffield united for the rest of the season to bolster their midfield. Sheffield United and Central recently signed a partnership together and this move could be permenant if he does well

FourFourTwo Belief Factor: 4/10 - it's possible but United already have a large squad struggling to get regular starts and it's unlikely he'll get a lot of game time.

I dont know who he is but our midfield seriously needs improving in the summer, that has been our down fall this season. David Carney has been wavering in and out of the squad when for me I would have him in starting eleven every week.

He was signed from a lower league last season and now he's our crucial CM. This season's Club Medal winner, Members' Player of the Year and Goal of the Year. Now national team representative as well.

In other words don't worry who he is because you're not having him, he's ours. :naughty:

If Miles believes he wants to go to Sheffield, and be back for the start of the HAL season, I think it would be a good opportunity for him. But on the understanding he's back in ample time to prepare for game 1 HAL v4. Jedinak being away from the Mariners in the off season would give Lawrie an opportunity to trial a few others in his role and see how they fair, too.

But having been selected in the Socceroos squad, and talk of him being in the Olyroos squad too (as an overage player?), he may be required by his country during the HAL off season and not able to take up any loan offer.

Bladesmad, Jedinak would definately tighten up your centre midfield. He's plays for us as a more defensive centre midfielder, and even filled in as a Centre fullback when needed - and done quite well there too. But if the style of game is more open in your league, he may venture forward a bit.

But as Floss said, he's ours!

Bear ...........your link say Harry may consider an A-League club.............Mother of Mercy .......H in the A-League .......... if he joined the Mariners ................. Man I would go to the after match functions.....................F you Bear you have me in a state of dreaming and hoping.

Actually for Harry's sake I hope he recovers from O'leary and being over played when he was young.

I heard he was going to Uvay ..............striker 9, ................much interest as I understand it.
