Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. The history hurts, but we don't want a midfielder to destroy our academy progression. We've 2 currently delivering in the A-League and a few right behind.
We need a defender. Deng released and approached by quite a few A-League sides however wants to stay in Japan. Hall and Deng anyone............

The only spot I currently feel deficient in depth is right back, miller, although currently a beast in that role still probably thinks he's a centre half, and Storm Roux is Storm Roux.

I'd be happy for him to come here. His main position is CB - but he has played around 20 games at RB - certainly an upgrade on Storm. If he dis come to us I would want a decent length contract ($$$) because I suspect if he did come back it would be to re-establish himself before going OS again

Deng is a premium defender. Out of budget and unless Kye goes to South Korea, out of our style.

I wouldn’t think anyone investing right now is thinking short term. At least this season and possibly next will be COVID affected. Would be pricing in the current rubbish for sure though.
