ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Is this the club setting up their own apparel company?

Domain name was registered by the club itself, declaring the domain to be associated with CC Mariners PTY LTD.

Interesting and I also get the feeling there is more in the detail of this new relationship. Sounds like a good business decision and we seem to be doing this more and more now which is refreshing. The Peil effect as he is clearly has a good business mind.

Huge wraps from the press conference, I'm confused, is the website registration thing suggesting that this company is owned by the mariners?

Not so much owned however there seems to be more to it. They are a Chinese Co by their website however have now registered an Australian Co and the Club has been involved in that registration so they may be some kind of partnership. May explain the Club saying it's the biggest deal in our history because we get more $$ for every merch sale.

The bottom of the website also shows copyright to CCM along with a COE address.

Gives me the impression CCM has been given equity as part of the deal, very interesting.

Edit: Actually, should have realised - that's not just COE address, it's the Mariners' own address and phone number.

Came back to look at this a little more, as I'm a little uncertain who Cikers are. The Mariners seemingly gaining equity in the relationship made me curious.

Found a few links internationally.

Cikers.com appears to be a business based in Beijing which says "Powered by Cikers" and uses the tagline "Approach Infinity" which makes sense with the logo. Somewhat going by the name Cikers Technology. This appears to be the primary manufacturer and business.

xteamwear.com appears to be the more e-commerce oriented, for direct sales. They have a significant range of designs and options available, really quite impressive - makes me optimistic for a pretty good CCM range of apparel to come. There are some rather 'familiar' designs on their range though, so they might be willing to play a little loose with some regulations.
