ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The last game of the season vs scum is listed as away, is that still correct? I can't remember if there was some arrangement for that to be home because their pitch was cactus earlier in the season and we swapped venue?

We caved and swapped at the time. Last week was the one supposed to be at our home.

So last game there is correct.

See page 1 of the thread

Also it might get changed to the Sunday depending on our home and away legs for AFC Cup finals (what ever the final that isn’t a final is) two legs

I know it's because of the travel time returning from Bishkek, but it makes me chuckle that we are increasing the rest days by shortening the time to the next fixture. ?

Sorry if this is not the correct thread to post, looking at tickets against that FC next week, obviously want to be as close to the Yellow Army as possible but maybe not stuck in the corner like unite round, anyone have any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Big two weeks.

Can wrap up the premiership and our spot in the Asian final.

Screwed over by Olyroos commitments as Alou looking better and Faz had been unbelievable and owns Nesta who is causing trouble again

And other games have a big play on the season with Victory Nix having a massive influence on our position and run home.

Hard to argue that when it's been in the AFC calendar for at least 2 years and it's well known there was no window so it would be mainly domestic players used as o/s clubs wouldn't release players.

It's not like they sprung the tournament out of the blue.

Yes it's not ideal but on the positive, Nestor has had 2 good games in a row so likely to drop off for a bit 🤞🏻

I'd say it's more of an issue that the AFC Cup overlaps with the U23 Asian Cup. Those are both continental tournaments and its pretty logical that there can be overlap in the two squads.

Yeah but it's an under age tournament.

There was no overlap with the AFC full international and the WCQ rounds.

Full international AFC and AFCON took players out of the EPL (FIFA sanctioned window so clubs had no choice). With so much football in the calendar overlaps will happen, and nobody will care that they take a couple of U/23s out of the second tier club tournament or the aleague.
