ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I think we should expect more for our membership than the few trinkets (cap, sticker etc) we get each year.
The club can claim to represent a group of 5000+ consumers and use this to negotiate deals for these members (and at the same time make membership more attractive to prospective members).
Consider what membership to the NRMA provides (discount accommodation, discounts on entertainment such as movie tickets etc) and similarly the Entertainment Book which for about $50 provides discounts on many services.

The businesses providing the benefits will tend to be preferred by members because of the discounts so everyone wins.
I'm pretty sure the Mariners will be putting out a Members discount book/ offers where you'll get discounts on Mariners sponsors product or services.

Whether this helps or not with what you have written above I'm not sure

Apparently at 5300 as of today.
Not too shabby.
Maybe the word is out....we no longer stink......in fact we are starting to smell pretty damn sweet.

time to kick roar and perth out of the competition then

You don't have to have the best figures in the comp... as long as you're not the worst?

Having more members than the Nux I can understand, but can someone please explain how the f**k we've got more than the Roar (5282) and on par with Glory (6064)??? Lol

The Roar are way down this year (they had 12,113 at the end of last season). My understanding is that a lot of people chose not to renew because of the ownership dramas involving the Bakries; in any case it's not like it's hard to get a seat at Suncorp.

PG only had 6,298 last year, so they're not far off that. The salary cap debacle might have had some impact on their numbers.

They now have something they can market. Mariners are playing well never seemed to help that much. Aloisi did a bit though I reckon. Can see this helping, people will be talking. Perception is everything these days.
