Hopefully the weather won't be that worse as last week.

We played Stuttgart away yesterday evening. I haven't been to the match and couldn't watch it on TV so I just listened on the radio - and according to that the performance of our players must have been horrible.
We were 3:0 back after just half an hour...Can't say anything more about that - just that Meggsy and Spiro were on the bench.

Before the replay against Wolfsburg next Sunday we are  now 5 points behind a safe spot.

Today is the Cup final and we lose the best thing we achieved during the last decades...I think Bayern Munich makes it and gets the Cup

A lot more important is tomorrows replay against Wolfsburg. I have to admit that I am a bit afraid as everything will be over if we lose; I don't think we will avoid relegation if we lose to week tomorrow and next week against Bielefeld...

The team will be likely the same as on Wednesday with Meggsy and Spiro sitting on the bench.

We played quite well and Jan Koller scored the only goal after 79mins.
Today was bright sunshine with nearly 20C. ;D

Now we are only 2 points away from the safing spot...and have the chance to get there next week if we win against Bielefeld at home.

Meggsy was on the bench and Spiro came in in the last minute to play for time.

I know this is very irrelevant, but I finished 5th with FCN on football manager 08. Most of the season I played with a formation like:

Jacobsen Wolf Meggsi Pinola
              Mnari
    Galasek    Nakamura (I signed him for 10million)
Mintal                      Saenko
              Vittek

Saenko top-scored for the season. Kennedy also scored lots of goals

But happy I am wondering what is the preferred line-up and shape with all players available?

Well, due to a lot of injuries this season we never had the chance to play two following matches with the same formation. Yesterday we played

Klewer

Jacobsen Wolf Abardonado Pinola
Galasek Engelhardt
Mintal
Vittek Koller Saenko

Blazek is injured, we have problems on the position of the right wing defender for the whole season, sometimes we played Galasek -  Mnari; or Wolf - Glauber in the defence; Koller and Charisteas change; and Misimovis was injured yesterday aswell.

Btw we can't afford signing a player for 10million...

Good result Happy.Looking at the league table and your remaining matches you have a reasonable chance of staying up.The two games at home against Bielefeld and Duisburg are must wins.The two away fixtures against Dortmund and Hertha will not be easy but certainly not impossible tasks since your form seems to have picked up a bit.

I don,t think you would want it to come down to needing a win against Schalke in the last game would you?

By the way when were FC Koln and Munchengladbach relegated?It doesn,t seem that long ago that they were playing in UEFA Cups etc.

That's pretty much the same thinking as we have. We definitely need 2 wins out of the matches against Bielefeld and Duisburg.

Mnchengladbach was relegated after last season and Cologne two years ago. But Mnchengladbach is about getting promoted to the 1st league as they are top of the league.
It's quite some time ago that they played in the UEFA Cup - in the last years it was Frankfurt, Mainz, Leverkusen, Bremen and us who played there.

Yes it probably is some time since I have seen those names mentioned in the UEFA Cup.It is over 20 years since I saw Monchengladbach play against my Scottish club Dundee United in the UEFA Cup.Two victories which no Utd supporters of that time will ever forget.We also had a victory against Werder Bremen around that time aswell.We haven,t had a lot of success since then so the memories remain very clear!! :'(

Of course, Gnter Netzer; the man with the funny haircut. He now works as a TV commentator and has his own sports markteing agency somewhere in Switzerland.

The UEFA Cup matches this season were my first ones - and I hope I will live to see some more at any time as this is a grat experience.

I'm interested to see what your overall impresions of Spiranovic are? Does he have a big future in Football? The reason I ask is from our National team perspective. I'm also wondering if you think he has a future at FC Nurnberg?

Also, do you think Meggsi is still wanted by the club?
