ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'd hope for 8k but the vibes are bad, the scheduling is horrible and I'd argue Valentines Day might even result in less attendance. Poor poor stuff from the FFA.

f'k , I hear you .i got it at 21 , I think I lived in the shower for 3 days .
Luckily I don't have it on the body. Unfortunately I do have it on the face & head. My right eyelid is puffed up so it's almost closed. Hopefully the guys will put on such a performance that'll make my eye want to open wide! :)

I would love to be there, but I await medical clearance (my childhood chicken pox has waited 60 years to now bite me with shingles).

The last home game I missed was Jets 3 or 4 seasons ago. I had chicken pox. I was 49 at the time.
Not looking forward to shingles. Thinking of paying for the injection.

I'll be there on Sunday as usual. Lucky to get 7K I think.

The jab's no use once you've had the pox. Sorry, won't talk about this nasty ailment any more, get back on topic. I'll be there in spirit seeing I can't be there corporeally. COYY!!!

I thought it was only Jets supporters that liked to organise family reunions for Valentine's Day?

Hopefully Shandong take Adelaide all the way to a penalties in tonights ACL qualifier........:shoutclap:
Definitely, hope we can get another Aussie team into the ACL and if the game can go for a fair while that would be great for us. I seem to be in the minority but I love watching the ACL no matter what Aussie club is in it.

I love it , it just that more often, than not, the Aussie teams get done.

I actually like all Aussie teams to win, apart from Scum and the two Sydney teams.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
geez, i dunno....sure adelaide has an ACL game midweek....but Walmsley will probably change 9 guys and play the replacements all out of position, so im happy with a draw

@ccmariners

The Central Coast Mariners marquee man Luis Garcia has set the Hyundai A-League alight as a super sub’ but this Sunday Tony Walmsley is expected to include the Spaniard in his starting XI at Central Coast Stadium vs. Adelaide United.

It will be a match day with plenty of Spanish flavour that will see Garcia face off against his fellow countrymen in Isaias, Sergio Cirio, Marcelo Carrusca and Pablo Sanchez who are coached by Barcelona legend Guillermo Armor.

Except that Marcelo Carrusca is Argentinian, not Spanish...

La Rocca cited for elbowing charge:

Adelaide United utility Iacopo La Rocca has been issued with a show cause notice by the A-League match review panel (MRP) and could face a ban for elbowing during Friday's win over Sydney FC.

La Rocca appeared to send a stray elbow into the face of Sky Blues' forward Matt Simon in the 24th minute of the 2-2 draw at Coopers Stadium.

The pair brought each other to ground after a challenge and La Rocca's offending action in question, came as he returned to his feet.

While the 31 year-old wasn't carded for the incident, the MRP has the authority to rule on the clash as both the referee and linesman missed the incident.

La Rocca must account for his actions by 2:30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday afternoon or he is likely to miss his club's trip to play Central Coast Mariners on Sunday.

Meanwhile, La Rocca said the groin complaint that forced him to leave the field, was unlikely to lead to any further time out.
