ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The Oils are probably the worst band i have ever seen live. I get they have a great message and are Aussie icons but if they were Footballers they would be Robbie Slaters son.compared to the oils everyone is shit

Hmm, I saw the oils at sound wave and they were brilliant and I saw them many times at the sundowner back when I had hair and a working spine…maybe they just had a off night Womby ?The Oils are probably the worst band i have ever seen live. Also saw Hunters and Hoodoo Gurus.....both very solid and enjoyable gigs.I have seen hundreds and hundreds of live bands, if not thousands. I also grew up doing lights and sometimes sound for my friend’s band who supported some decent Australian acts. Unfortunately not the Oils.
Midnight Oil would have to be in the top five live bands I have ever seen. Up there with Bon Jovi, Motkey Crue, Died Pretty and Jeff Buckley and his band, followed by Hunters and Collectors and Hoodoo Gurus.
I ha e seen Midnight Oil over twenty times times because of how good they are live. Not many bands could match their raw energy and intensity on stage and they are seriously good musicians. Rob Hirst, at the height of his powers, was one of the best drummers in the world and he carried the whole band on his shoulders to reach some incredible heights. Jim Moginie is a genius.
I will have no talk of them being bad live because it is simply not true.
