but for me it's 20/21 after the dark ages that preceded it

Our 2020 NPL2 season. 46 goals scored in 12 games, the likes of Hall, Windust, Steele, Balard, Kuol, Faz, not to mention Cahill, J Bayliss, Katsoulis, McCarthyyyy, Smylie, and Hatch all strutting their stuff for the first grade side. Kuzzi and Tapp bossing 20s. Premiers and champions in both grades.
Absolute golden era. The first time I saw the tide turning. Shaun summed it up best afterwards - “these kids haven’t been through the shit, they haven’t known losing. We’re on here.”
