ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Faisal looked interesting, could be a good pickup. Gave the ball away a bit but made some good runs, dribbles and crosses. Not afraid to take a man on either, good to see after so much passback.
Needs to work on a bit of strength or moving the ball rather than trying to hold off defenders.

Looked lively.

Who is going to take the blame for the wall? That's pretty basic stuff
That’s on DPC sadly.
The unfortunate reality is an 18 year old first choice goalkeeper will make mistakes, and when goalkeepers make mistakes they often cost goals.
That said, he has the highest ceiling of any ‘keeper we’ve had since Maty (and not because he’s 7 foot 8). Was comfortably my MoM against Wellington on the weekend.

Agree, with a keeper this young there will be mistakes and he was a bit iffy at times this game but the potential and the improvement he's showing is more than worth it.

For me he's one of the most exciting players we've had for years, the development potential is huge. When I think about those years with Kennedy and Pearce I'd have bitten your hand off for Dylan.

Heartbreaking stuff. He did make 2 or 3 good saves and commanded his box but he is good for one or two big cock ups per game and he had 2 bad ones tonight. One led to a goal and the other was an amazing miss by the Westie.
But like Pete said there is a good keeper in there...... but its peak Mariners to play an error prone novice as our first string keeper.

Plenty of positives tonight.

Defence was generally good. Kaltak should have got a header in on their first goal but slid in beautifully later on to redeem himself. Tesco does calm things down and passes out nicely but he is still not purring just yet. Paull impressed again and brilliant run and cross for Edmo's goal....also put their keeper off on Doka's goal.
Eames was impressive until gassed.
Theo did well. Edmo is starting to blossom and was very unlucky not to get a brace after great work by Faisal.
Doka returned to form.

Subs all put in.

3pts Doka
2pts Storm
1pt Eames and Edmo.

That ball from Paul to Edmonton was perfect. A sign our going forward is growing!

I'd love to know who MJ was referring to in regards to the player he is struggling to get over the line in the window. Doesn't sound positive that we will get them - but another attacking outlet would be what the doctor ordered.

Mrs said has he been on the weights. I was no he has always had bulk. She said no his shoulders are looking stronger. Someone’s been in the gym with Vuka.

It does look like it and as some one so tall and quite solid he still has to develop his body. Looks like that is building which as my wife said is making him look less akward in his movements

Just needs to develop the brain now which only game time gives you. His decision making will improve with more experience.

He struggled mightily with the wind tonight.

Did make a strong save too.

More importantly he is already better than the Pav
