ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Those British girls look like assasins. I'm tipping a win to the good girls.
I saw them do an opposed session against some of the academy lads and Pennock looked quality. If she gels with Nunn then they will be scoring goals for fun.

Taylor Ray looks a good pick up alongside Izzy in CM. Nash is another excellent signing. Martin looked in good form and Izzy and Peta looked to have grown in confidence from their form and international call ups last year. I am expecting big improvements from both Raz and Shay if they get decent minutes and there is plenty of potential in the youngsters they have added.

Overall i think this will prove to be a better squad all round than last year. And no has-beens sponging a wage whilst convalescing from long term injury

Terrific performance, thought we looked a tad toothless in the first half but remedied that in the second.

Gomez was absolutely fantastic, same with Nash. Rasmussen is definitely getting closer and both Nunn and Pennock looked more and more dangerous as time went on.

Thought Taylor Ray was good too - an early contender for the "Max Balard Award" for most underrated player of the season

Looks like year of the girls. Played great. Survived that chance in the first half that the 9 for Sydney should have buried otherwise didn’t give much at all and the goal came from nowhere.

Great coach and team looks good.

New striker has a good shot on her

Would have liked to have seen that from behind. It looked like she hit it to avoid a defender which meant she hit it wide.

Anyone know the crowd. Looked very small but I imagine most were trying to keep dry.
They didn’t read out the crowd figure til the men’s game.
Stadium was very bare. I don’t think it helped that it was a double header honestly, because most came towards the end if at all, until the game.

Of course, the rain was also a factor.
