that is true, but unfortunatly.. you see that with most player, corica does it, brosque does it and undoubtebly theres atleast someone in each team that does it. Even in the EPL or other leagues, the same thing happens. atleast their referees pick 30% of it up though

If you put breeze's 2 games together, he did a line at the sydney game & was woefull plus poor decisions, linesmen with bad eye sight plus breeze's smart arse smile, no wonder you can't win a game fairly.  Poor games no game; it is in other codes.

However, it is more important that 3rd & 4th get the best ref because they have no second chance, 1st & 2nd do. 

I DO BELIEVE IT'S TIME FOR LAWRIE TO COP A FINE AND BAG OUT BREEZE. 

The underdog can only do so much to achieve victory, but when you have officials who a blatantly bad, bias and not up to the calabre of game then they must be drop.  Refs are not above reproach but this game and the FFA believe they are and do everything possible to make sure we can't change the bad of the  game.

In 7 years of the NSL and HAL the football web site BOTN has him recorded as doing 3 games, and he's given this major-semi!!!

Oddly, of the other two he got the major semi last year in Newy, with Breeze, between Jest and Blingers!  Result 2-0 to Jests in another game with controversial referring decisions. 

A post on another forum made me wonder in how many languages JA is able to call the referee a f**kwit!

If Steve Bucknor can be dropped due to umpiring errors in one game....

..... why can't Matthew Breeze be dropped due to numerous refereeing errors in multiple games?

We need the media or someone with the right authority to investigate this issue and highlight how poor his refereeing has been.  To classify him as the #2 referee in Australia is extremely embarrassing.

That would of been scary, thankfully Australia and Asia's "best" Mark Shield went to Germany instead.

Although Breeze was incharge of an Asian Cup semi-final.

From watching Olympic and Asian Cup Qualifiers, along with the Asian Cup and Asian Champions league, there are these two referees (I think Singaporean and Malaysian) that I was impressed with. Would it be so wrong to invite them to become A-League referees? There's an idea!
