ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Big result for us this arvo. Now guaranteed finals unless we lose both and Perth can roll Brisbane & Jets.

After watching that game Perth v Wellington I have no idea of the handball rule.
Couple of make up calls for the soft penalty Da Villa missed. Both Castro hand balls looked like penalties but the second one was the most obvious.

Feel asleep for a quick nap at 1-0 early in the 2nd half and woke up to the crowd going off for the second goal. Was surprised that made it 2-2.

We now need a point and we are definitely in the finals or Perth not to win both games

Might have been soft but Perth weren’t complaining when Milligan conceded a similar one to them recently. If you want to go physical and shoulder to shoulder turns in to shoulder to shoulder blade then it’s a very real risk of a spot kick.

yeah, it's valid. Attacker can move his body around like that - defender coming in too fast to respond, it's on him.
Castro's first - I'd like to watch it in real time. Was his arm coming over from a natural roll, or him deciding to get up? That could make the difference....but yeah, looked deliberate

The second...yeah, that's a stonewall pen.

clear foul at the end too, push in the back. Just seems like King didn't have the courage to give another penalty in quick succession

Have faith, brisbane will be at home verse Sydney, and because of their result today, they will be hurting, and depending on the result vs Perth there's a chance they may be fighting.
We just need to get this win on Tuesday to place pressure on Sydney.
