Dukes is a lazy fat c**t, but he's still one of the classiest players this country has ever produced. He attained a higher level at his peak than Aloisi ever did, and the lesser pace and easier lifestyle of the A-League could either ease the stresses on weary bones or encourage him to munch the pies - nobody knows unless he comes back.

If he got even remotely fit he would completely own this league.

Barwick answered " I dont know but i know but he could play for Sydney Olympic".

Listening to the segment i believe he could have used any team name but he did say the Mariners hence the thread. I think it is total bullocks! Poor reporting as for mine they would have no substance to the statement. Then to continue to link to Olympic just shows how poor it actually is.

if he went to an EPL club, they would have to be certifiable. He has nothing to offer at that level anymore.

At HAL level he would indeed carve it up.

Agree with the sentiments that this is a highly unlikely transfer rumour with no factual backing, and hypothetically Viduka would carve at this level.

However if he WERE to come here I believe it would be for a short guest-stint in which he would average 1-2 goals a game, followed by 6-12months of "Re-Sign Viduka" threads, then he would eventually sign with one of our neighbouring rivals.
