ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hi CCM fans, I just wanted to post a topic to say congrats on an excellent travelling support adding some fantastic atmosphere to the game last night. I know you guys must be devastated but the bay of yellow and navy was brilliant last night and a credit to your club. See you next year.

I'm a Roar fan too and I just wanted to add that the banter on Caxton st was great fun to watch and I really felt for you guys after the match. CCM are a good team and Roar were challenged more by them than any other team could have at the mo. I understand you all being gutted at losing your 3rd GF, but being in it twice is more than we got to enjoy in our first 5 yrs. Good luck for next season. Maybe we'll see you on Caxton St again.

Caxton Street was fantastic.
What a great way to start a match!

There`s no debate about the match on here, but from a Mariner`s point of view it was great to have so many ROAR fans come up to us & shake our hands & congratulate our team in the way they played.

The ROAR are the Champions but together our teams have lifted the standard of the HAL.

Congratulations & it was also good that you gave it to us in Caxton St after the game!!If we`d of won you would have copped a lot more than you gave us ,that`s for sure...cheers

I just hope you get that many supporters at all your games next season.

Thanks guys, Caxton Street and Calypso Bar were so much fun, the best pre-game atmosphere I've ever been a part of. I'd also like to remark on the fact that when me and my mates left the stadium stunned, shocked, numb and just emotionally drained, not one person got in our faces and tried to rub our noses in it, in actual fact a couple of people came up to us and offered their commiserations.
Congratulations to the Roar, your team have been a class act all season. Bring on Season 7!

I was in awe at the amount of yellow in the stadium. It's a huge financial commitment to make the trip not to mention logistically, being played late on a Sunday afternoon with work the next day. I was in cat A with other Mariners supporters and there was a huge roar from our bay when the banners were lifted. I don't mind admitting I was a little choked up and misty eyed for a couple of minutes.

Never, ever have I been more proud of our club, our supporters and the Central Coast than Sunday. The noise and ferocity of our support was incredible. Our crowds this year have been disappointing but in terms of passion, we're right up there. Simply awesome and I salute everyone who made the trip. Without fans there is no club.

Only negative on the day other then the result was the security getting in my 15 year old brothers face after the game with taunts of what a waste of money travelling up etc.
As soon as I noticed I told him the stadium would be contacted, he soon shut up after that. I was a little sensitvie I know but security at that ground is the worst in Australia. I hate going there.

No you weren't being over sensitive. It was pretty rude and inappropriate of them to say anything to anyone. Security there are OTT and we dislike them too. I'd go ahead and make a complaint. They're always happy to be the fun police, so it would be good to see it go the other way.

I was told by the "Fun Police"I could only have my banner up before the game started & I was in the last seats before the toilets.
They weren`t overly happy when I asked the security guy to move because he was standing at the rail blocking my view.

There was the odd dickhead in Caxton Street before and after the match spoiling for a fight. You get those morons everywhere. But it didn't detract from an awesome pre-match experience.

In previous years Suncorp security have been total NAZIs, and it is a shame to hear from ExiledMariner that things haven't changed there. However credit due to the Calypso\Caxton security who did their job well with good humour, and were sensible over the odd indiscretion. That was a pleasant surprise.

The shout-offs at a distance and the mingling were fantastic - probably the safest I've felt in years. Credit to the Roar fans for making us - the enemy - very welcome.

While still totally gutted to lose our third attempt in such circumstances (Breeze - you f**king wanker), I'm glad it was to Brisbane. They are clearly a class act. 2010/11 will always be remembered as The Year of the Lion for such an outstanding season.

Pretty much everything said in the topic. Was standing in the support bay and it was just awesome. Never have I been around 50 thousand fans in a full house. I hope this is sort of thing happens more and more.

Congrats to the Roar. Was a long trip home but aside from the bandwagoners who threw silver coins and spat on my girlfriend after the game, the real supporters are class.

That sort of disgusting crap is only expected from Scum fans. Pity there was no one there to slap some manners into the little buggers for you. Hope your girlfriend wasn't too upset mate.
