ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Think Rogic will start on the bench after his 'roos adventure?

We'll be confident of this one but MH won't be pushovers, they're hard to score against. Thankfully the CCM coaching staff and thus team treat every game seriously and on its own merits so they'll be well aware of it.

Yeah me too. But it's more on Saturday lates. On a Friday... I think we'll get between 7,500 - 8,500?
Saturday late is def our best time. But we only have 2 more saturday night late starts unfortunately.
Though we do at least have new years which is always a decent crowd.

Anyway hoping for a better crowd as 5:30 is a shit time, especially when it's hot, and I can't stand the idea that our players feel we aren't passionately devoted. Because of shit like this...

Aaron Kearney on Twitter...

Mariners players and Jets fans -passionately committed every week.
Jets players and Mariners fans...evidently not so much #aleague

Hate this shit. Total bollocks. People and their stupid unrealistic expectations and total lack of understanding.

Even with our 6,500 we are pulling over 2% of our population on a stinking hot saturday arvo. I live at Copa, and was in Terrigal that day aswell, beaches PACKED. To go to a 5:30 game for a fam, which is the bulk of our support, you have to be heading in by 3:30. When it's nearly 40 degrees and your kids are playing with friends at the beach etc... people have to be realistic, it's just not going to happen. But If Sydney could do what we do and pull even 2% they would be having crowds in excess of 90K, Melbourne in excess of 80K.

And we pulled over 5% of our population to the Sydney game. That's f**king amazing.

We have to accept that we will have maybe 4 great crowds every year, which is over 10K in my opinion.
4 low crowds which is around 6K, and 5 in the middle crowds, at around 8K.

Good news is our support is bloody consistent in this regard. Rain hail or shine performance wise we support our team, which means we are a true supporter base. I appreciate that the players or pundits may feel a whopping 7% of our population should be coming to every game because we are top of the league. But it's completely f**king unrealistic, and comments about our fans not being passionately committed is just plain insulting.

Wombat neglects his children, and I'm abandoning my business and the seminar I was scheduled to teach so I can be there. But then will still have to endure the press about our fans not being committed. ADZ, I need some bad ass pissed off smiley faces back please.

Hey, I will bring both the older two if they are interested....so it's not total neglect!

I agree with you FP our support is second to none. I'd like us to be more vocal.....but only all of us can improve that!!

I suspect he will move up the pecking order very quickly by the end of January. There is no way our team wont be raped again.

The latest prediction from Wanderers website..

Central Coast Mariners vs Melbourne Heart - Friday 7:30pm EDT – Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford. The Central Coast Mariners are sitting pretty following their 2-0 strangulation of the Newcastle Jets last week in the F3 derby. If Daniel McBreen was a cricket player you'd say he was seeing them like beach balls. McBreen has hit 9 goals for the season with just over a quarter of the season gone meaning that the 21 goals in a season record held by Berisha will come under threat. To complement the attack the Mariners have several of the best defenders in the league. Pedj Bojic and Josh Rose work tirelessly all game long to put opposition wingers and fullbacks under threat and their central defensive pairing is is composed at all times. Tom Rogic and Mat Ryan are coming back into the squad and both will be better for their EAFF Cup experience.Melbourne Heart snatched all three points from under the noses of Perth Glory with the 1-0 win at AAMI Park last Saturday. After a dreadful game in front of a tiny 4,500 crowd, Heart ripped apart the Glory defence on the counter in the 88th minute, with Gol Gol Mebrahtu scoring his first ever senior goal. The win will give them confidence, and has put them back in top 6 contention. Heart have Richard Garcia, Aziz Behich and Michael Marrone from their EAFF duties, although Behich may not make the starting line-up due to the large amount of game-time he received during the tournament. Heart are too inconsistent all over the pitch. Their defense is leaky, their midfield is neither dominant enough to control a match or organised enough to work very effectively on the counter and in the attack they struggle to put multiple goals past their opponents. The Mariners should be unbackable favourites, and even a draw would be a huge upset in this match.Prediction: 3-0 Central Coast.

Hopefully no major issues for Ollie?

Couldnt snag this one off work :(
Heart will be tough, but we should do them over.
Is a shame we dont get more 7-8pm saturday games, would really build the crowds
