ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

What happened to the giant mariners jersey?

The Club have it - we can use it whenever we want we only need to ask, club captain is responsible for organising this.

Also...........where were these ideas for the grand final?

Ideas are great, but what we need is people to not only come up with an idea but actually DO SOMTHING WITH IT!

Radar - why don't you get a quote how much this would cost? If a banner is too much why not 1 or 2 flags? Contact myself or another committee member and if funds are available we can get it made.

Right-oh, Jimmy, fair enough, I'll do my best to answer:

The two tifo flags belong to CCMFC, not the Marinators. We made contact with the club regarding the big flag, and we were informed that we would be able to use it for the GF.

The problem came in areas; one, I, in particular, was so focussed on the Public Transport issues that I put the tifo display out of my priority list. This is NOT an excuse, I have NONE, and believe me I regret it.

Two, actually getting the flag to the SFS was, whilst not impossible, very difficult as it would not have fitted on the Mariners bus. Again, focussing on other things meant the tifo display got put on the back-burner.

So, ALL OF YOU, accept my apologies for the non-provision of a tifo flag for the GF. It was truly embarrassing when the excellent Squadron display was put on show.

I am encouraged that people are coming up with great ideas for our own tifo, some of things on here are terrific, and DJ is right - actions speak louder than words.

Dont beat your self up over this.

The ticketing and transport fiasco was a significant distraction.

If the boys had put on any sort of performance, the sheer energy and emotion of our supporters would have more than made up for it. Sadly, it didnt happen.

It was a huuuuuuuuuge occasion for the Scum, visit to the town with all the big buildings, 1st ever final etc etc.

We will have many, many opportunities in the future :)

LOL @ Greenpole.... "..visit to town with all the  big buildings...."  Love it! ;)

I also see MASSIVE opportunities for the Marinators Club to shine in the near future and think it has been an incredible success in such a short space of time. REALLY looking forward to letting my hair down at the end of season party this Saturday to celebrate the season 'off the park'.

I like the top one best. It's good!
I'm just not too sure about the font? Sure, it's keeping with the theme, though might be a little bit hard to read.

Taylor, are you planning on making this?
If so, I'll add you into the table I'm making for next years projects.

Nah I never make banners.. I sit in Bay 5. Just like trying to help with ideas for them.

I think it's the least I can do!
After standing in the bay and singing for 3 seasons, I figured it'd be time to get to know the boys around me!
And rather than come on here and complain about the Marinators not being loud enough or whatever, I'd rather do something constructive. People have a lot of good ideas that I've already seen, so I figured the best way I could really contribute would be to help organise everything, to bring more people in like me, who've been there but don't know how to get involved other than just showing up and singing. :)
