ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Most were binary and/or easily rephrased to be binary questions. Well done!Let’s see how right all the left-insulting forum members are:

I don't use Vote Compass - I find that it very superficial and only covers a few policy areas or only asks one or two questions in a policy area. Essentially this tells you nothing but that is the state of political and economic journalism in Australia. (How I miss Ken Begg and Alan Ramsey).
TBH the left and right labels are also rather dubious. I suspect I am probably approaching around where the LNP is supposed sitting economically (though that is based more on rhetoric than performance over the last 50 years). Socially I suspect I am more 'liberal' socially in the true sense than the ALP but nowhere near the Greens (economic vandals and essentially like ONP - a party of protest not government).
Australia is always at its best when the two major parties are debating over the issues that Australians care about (not what Sky or 2GB or any number of outlets claim are important. The vast majority of Australians are centrists and what very similar things. It is only at the periphery of the delivery that there is usually some natural division (as opposed to stirred up division).
The other beef I have is the ability of politicians of all persuasions to spread misinformation and indeed fot he media to perpetuate it. A classic example is the so-called Mediscare campaign. Essentially the Brisbane HQ of the ALP sent out text messages with the subject of Medicare. Turnbull - who was instrumental in Australias' first real internet company AOL said it was shown to be from Medicare - that is incorrect and always was incorrect. The subject of the text, not the sender which was clearly Brisbane ALP HQ, was Medicare. Turnbull with his background must have known the difference.
As reported by the ABC at the time and the truth never reported to the same extent.
On Friday, voters reported receiving text messages that appeared to be from "Medicare" as they went to the polls.
"Mr Turnbull's plans to privatise Medicare will take us down the road of no return. Time is running out to Save Medicare," the text read.
The Australian Federal Police said in a statement it had received a complaint about the messages.
"The Australian Federal Police (AFP) can confirm it has received a referral on Saturday 2 July 2016 in relation to the receipt of text messages allegedly sent from Medicare," it said.

Careful about using labels like lefties here, they are very sensitive and only feel comfortable when they are putting shit on conservatives.

400 hundred private jets at darvos repeated any time there is a climate conference .eg to all those fans who flew to Asia for something as frivolous as a football game, yet want more done about global warming. Cheap flights.com.au says that the average flight from Sydney to Shandong is 13 hours. The carbon dioxide emissions for each traveller on a return journey is nearly six tonnes.

Ahhhhh, you struggled again with nuance and complexity in these Vote Compass binary questionsA very predictable response from someone who deals in such absolutes.
This would be more effective if he actually had gone to China but carry on.Ahhhhh, you struggled again with nuance and complexity in these Vote Compass binary questions
Your response to Q 7 on Coal mine expansion was negative wasn't it? Be honest.
Still want to be a climate saviour while dumping tonnes of carbon into the air for an amusing 90 mins?
It doesnt have to be China, it could be Brizzie, Melbourne, Japan, Adelaide, Korea, the Middle East, Perth, The Phillipines, Bali, Wellington etc. The same principle applies, and its just a matter of degree. Anyone including you, who wants to attack OzHammer, Spax or any climate skeptic while doing such damage to the atmosphere themselves is a joke. I hope they have trouble looking their grandchildren in the eyes. This would be more effective if he actually had gone to China but carry on.
@marinermick just think how big your footprint would have been if you took imaginary trips to more games in Asia?
