ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

& Kenneddey to fts

Very good keepers are hard to find. There have only been half a dozen very good keepers in the HAL since it started and we have had two of them. Glover is almost certain to go back to Tottenham or be loaned out in England. Pearce isn't good enough at this stage. I think Kennedy has to stay - but he doesn't need to start. Given the dearth of very good keepers in Australia at the moment (how that has changed) then we have to be happy with more run of the mill keepers (BTW non of the current keepers could hold a candle to Maty, Danny. Mitch, Eugene in his prime, Theo in his prime or even Moss in his prime.).

I would keep Kennedy and bring in Oldfield now he is an Aussie. Who starts depends on form

Shaun was saying afterwards that we spent well above the floor but not up to the cap.
Football Nut,can you just clarify something.
You disagreed with my post but do you disagree that we spent well above the floor or do you disagree that Shaun said that after wards.
If it`s the former then write on the Shaun thread.

Mulvo effectively gets to build most of his own squad. Last night probably made his job easier

We have fans who are rightfully pissed off.
We have an owner with a business plan that is not working with short arms and deep pockets.
We have a team with no heart and no cohesion.

All that now can be said of Mike Mulvey.
To misquote a Star Wars line.

"He is our last hope." "-- there is no --other"

It was a very good idea of the club to parade him in front of the fans as soon as he signed the contract. Stopped him watching the players at training and the game and trying to back out

Has anyone heard anything from MM since the game? Any interview etc...?

I think i saw a man with his head in his hands weeping down at the Waterfront today. I assumed it was Mike but it could have been anyone of the 7000 Mariners fans at the game yesterday.:(
