ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

It's a marketing thing to create rivalries that don't exist because they have no natural derby.

That's what happens when you set up a competition from scratch with a 1 team per city criteria.

Big blue was another. Distance derby.
I think Sydney and Melbourne makes sense, that's why we have Canberra. But Adelaide and Melbourne only really makes sense in AFL.

I hadn't thought about "rivalry" vs "derby" as others pointed out but that makes sense. I would say this is manufactured marketing slop but I guess any marketing slop is better than none.

A good game. Personally i don't think it should have been a penalty for Melbourne. I'm not sure what the point of VAR is at times when they continue to get things wrong.

Really thin numbers in the North Terrace tonight in what’s supposed to be one of their biggest games of the seasons. Conveniently it had to of happen during the A-Leagues ‘pride cup’ where Adelaide were wearing special kits (victory did not). Lots of the NT were at the NPL instead. Weak as

Not really. Its not for a sports governing body to play social politics. Just stick to promoting the actually game would be a good idea and don't alienate your existing customer base.

Victory active supporters choosing to drive 3 hours away to an NPL game (where their team lost) to unfurl a banner saying “no politics” and missing a belter of an aleague game (where their team won) is f**kin hilarious to me. All because the league wants to support inclusiveness. Suffer.
