ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Newcastle Jets can advise that the Club has today parted ways with Head Coach Mark Jones, effective immediately.
Jones was appointed as Head Coach of the Club in September 2016, however after finishing bottom of the Hyundai A-League standings this campaign the Club’s ownership and senior management will make a fresh appointment for the 2017/18 season.

The Club will commence its 2017 pre-season in late June. It is intended that a new Head Coach will be in place before this time.

Currently no changes have been made to the Club’s other coaching and football support staff.

Senior Assistant Coach Clayton Zane will oversee training over the coming weeks before the playing group breaks for their annual leave in early May.

The Club thanks Jones for his efforts throughout the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season and wishes him well for the future. - See more at: http://www.newcastlejets.com.au/art...y2x8hbvlzr11678sxiq2k4h9#sthash.bq03eZwG.dpuf

Knifed by Zane? Their dressing room has been toxic for a few years now. Keeping the backroom staff is a bad idea.

Jones was loathed as he was perceived as Lawries mate and a de facto Coastie.

Roy as a serial headbutter is a good 'newy' signing - but they have so many other problems. Such a basket case - really do seem to have lost all sense of who they are/were.

Lawrie needs to get them to remember their glory days...

Change the strip back to poo gold.
Hire a delusional green grocer to run then.
Find the biggest wankas in the SouthernHemisphere and give them a jersey.
Pay 5000 bogans to jump around for 90 minutes every home game.
And start paying bonuses in mangoes once again.

Build it... and they will come Lawrie.

In a massive disruption the league and something that will no doubt be highly detrimental to future TV deals, and with repercussions likely to be felt throughout the next decade, the Squadrunts have said that their mums won't let them come out to play anymore:

In all seriousness though, I remember even the Marinators suffered when these policies first came into place. A combination of FFA not understanding the sport they administer, and security guards and police constantly somehow placing football supporters above ISIS on the threat list.

The kiddie klub walked away 2 seasons ago, then they formed their hardcore firm (until the leader got banned). Now they have nothing.

Long may it continue

LOL.
Love the Yellow Plastic chains. I used to work for a company that sold fake 9ct gold chains on a roll. You would buy it buy the inch. Maybe $9.95 per inch. Very popular in Newcastle and Wollongong.
And dont those boys just move like Newy Bogans......real white boy rhythm!
