ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Roskilde Festival in Denmark this Saturday.

;D

Were you on campus when the Danes from Roskilde were studying at Ourimbah? Catching up with any?

Roskilde is a pretty place, as is Denmark. Make sure you check out the waterfront. Denmark is horribly expensive. Bring plenty of Euro.

*EDIT* the festival never fails to impress with its lineup

I was, but alas, no catching up.... only there for the one night.

Also - Kroner, not Euro.  ;)

my mistake (when travelling, currency and conversion drives you nuts and f**ks with your head) - you need some serious kroner, if only for one day

I have 6 currencies with me at the moment, it's fucking annoying.

Pendulum are on before Muse.  This I like.  ;D

Back from Roskilde - Pendulum tore the place apart, and then Muse came on (their usual awesome selves).  And then The Prodigy after them.

Good god! Aliens attacked in the middle of the concert!

At the stadium concerts on this current tour they have had a UFO flying around when the Exogenesis Symphony is played, and during Take A Bow the singer departs from the stage and floats over the crowd on his own UFO-esque platform.

They are known for their sci-fi themes though, so it's not totally unexpected.  Looks fucking awesome though.  ;D

haha Muse must go around and take the most awesome original live set ideas from other artists and rehash it into their own show so people are amazed by their awesome original music and their awesome inventive sets.
Flaming Lips and Daft Punk must feel pretty ripped off right now.

Sean in "Muse bashing" shock.

;)

P.S.  If either band is so offended that they've been "ripped off" (and you're drawing a very long bow - more than one person has used a pyramid before, pretty sure Pink Floyd had one back in 1972 or so), then they can contact Muse themselves and issue a cease-and-desist order, or sue them for copyright infringement.

_ORRRRRRRRRR_, they must realise that more than one person has read "1984" and/or likes sci-fi.  Either way.
