ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Thankyou Lawrie.

Thanks Lawrie.

You got me passionate about football again - forget what the so-called experts say - your style of 'no bullshit' football by a squad picked using a 'no dickheads' policy was fine by me. Too many highlights to mention. You are hugely respected on the Coast and rightly so. Only sad that you never got a 'toilet seat', but the plate will do very nicely thanks!

Fortunate enough to see Lawrie in action in the dark days of Northern Spirit FC, and despite running on the proverbial oily rag proved his credentials both on and off field.
When Lawrie was chosen to lead a Central Coast franchise should they be succesful in gaining a place in the new A-League, the decision who to support was a no brainer.
Over the years as the Mariners developed on and off field, Lawrie again proved to be the perfect manager for Central Coast both with on field results, and in engaging with fans and the local community.
Whatever the future may hold, one this for sure and that is Graham Arnold has some very big shoes to fill.

Had the good fortune of meeting him a couple of times in person.  200% class.  Was refreshing that when we said to him "this didn't work last week, why did you do this", he actually sat us down and explained why he did what he was doing tactically and accepted the blame when it didn't.  I'll never forget that.

+1

I never imagined as a football supporter that it would be possible to 'chew the fat' on my team's tactics with the boss.

Lawrie was the perfect guy for setting us up and building a community. I thank him deeply for his role in giving me a team to follow on the Coast - something I never thought I would see. His success in that venture is that if you mention the Central Coast to anyone - the Mariners is what they know about the Central Coast.

Pre select him for Robertson.

Gets rid of Belinda and secures the seat in 1 stroke.

After being the Mariners coach for so many years, running Robertson should be a piece of cake.  :headbounce:
