Interesting to see who does the reffing, as CC Refs have been told their services are not required. Nothing to do with Mr Sprod's quest I presume.

RULE UPDATE

All referees are fully qualified.

Rule update from last season a goal may be scored from a header or volley inside the D area only (see rules for all data)

All players will have to sign on before they play their game and all teams MUST have numbered playing shirts  that corresponds to their ID card

All teams will receive a match ball to keep at the beginning of the competition, it will be the teams responsibility to have their match ball correctly inflated and ready for use at each game.

Players who are not registered CCF Winter competition players must provide photo I.D prior to the first kick off.

Point systems this year are as follows:

4pts Win, 2pts Score draw, 1point Scoreless draw, 0 Loss

Teams who have a bye are awarded 3pts and a 3 nil win.

Teams who forfeit will incur a 3nil loss.

SUMMER COMP REGOS - log into the Portal & go to the "Competition Registration" tab to register for refereeing a summer comp. Once registered, you will be able to put in availabilities up to 4 weeks ahead. Availability times for each day should be input from 5pm start to 10pm finish. YOU CAN ONLY REGISTER FOR COMPS IN ONE ZONE. CCF COMP IS IN THE SOUTH ZONE, KANWAL & BUDGEWOI COMPS ARE IN THE NORTH ZONE. That is, you can register for Budgewoi comp, or Kanwal comp, or both Budgewoi & Kanwal comps, OR you can register for CCF comp. You cannot register for CCF and Kanwal comps, or CCF and Budgewoi comps.

According to that I was under the impression CCF were supplying refs...

I dunno. Half the refs last year were qualified anyway.
And what use is qualification? Half the rules are different!
It may be a positive, but not the be all, end all if you ask me!

Actually it makes sense ... the CCF refs would charge the normal whack for their services whereas the 'fully qualified' ( by whom exactly? ) are obviously at least one of the following:

a) cheap
b) related to the CCF board
c) on the CCF board
