ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Stadium-wide poznan

I'm in. There's no moral struggle for me. Support happens in your heart. And mine is yellow. Besides FFC is right. The way I see it is I'll be jumping and singing for the Mariners for 89 minutes, and for world football for one. Nice one RBB.

Can we do a reverse Poznan just so we can watch the game & add to the atmosphere - Think some one called it a bouncy.

I think we should get the players involved. They are all great actors at heart. They should foul someone in the 79th min. The player fouled goes down & rolls around has the trainer come out why we all Poznan. Then when we are finished he gets up & plays on like every other week. In tribute to the Victory we can call it the Milligan. Everyone Wins

Prefer a bouncy myself. I've participated in a few bouncies at Ibrox and Stamford Bridge and once in the away end at the reebok and its quite fun.

But I'll participate as we should be up by a goal or three.

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but if I recall correctly there is a giant screen behind each end. Ergo, doing the Poznan we can watch the screen so we won't be missing out on anything.

How about we suggest doing it at a different time to the 80th minute???
If it is for unity rather than the Wanderers that should be no problem?

Happy to do a 'bouncy' at the appropriate moment. Will not be taking my eyes off our boys though.

I find it somewhat ironic that on the one hand it's been suggested that we avoid WSW supporters on Foveaux Street and our regular drinking holes like the KB, to walk twice as far to an unknown pub, yet we should 'hug' the DriveBys inside the stadium during their odd celebration?

We are Mariners. Stand loud, proud, fearless and independent.

If their march starts at 2:30 would mean little for anywhere we would drink as long as we walked along a couple of minutes before them.

But knowing how WSW fans were, regulars, as well as rbb dickheads at the first game, before the game, and after the game worse, acting like complete wankers to heavily pregnant ladies i was with as well as anyone else male or female, i wouldn't suggest walking out of the stadium with them when we win

Yep. Staying in the grounds for the next 45 mins to watch the presentation and celebrate will be the smart and most enjoyable thing to do I'd say. In fact we win the seat. I could happily stand there doing the bouncy all night.

Like to add though, there are lots of good WSW fans too form what I've seen. So what I hope is that they see it as their duty to self regulate. You can easily say come on mate let it go, or pull your head in type stuff to your own fan base.
But try doing it as the opposing team supporters... well...

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
I'm with you FP, I wish they would self regulate...they been told all year they should try that...yet the flares keep coming, and then, there was the smurf at Parramatta who copped it while eating a steak or, as a mate of mine from Newy tells me, the family in the carpark of Hunter stadium who watched their dad get a touch up after the Wanderers won easily...a % of the RBB have no grasp of the concept of self regulation

Problem solved - We gave it the Big middle finger it deserved.

In hindsight we should have celebrated it - Due to that game 1880 the FFA decided to put a team in from WS - Finally a team we can beat in a GF. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

As for the presentation Poznan - Yep Good idea Driveby's turn hug each other in sorrow & watch the champions on the big screen so you can get a better look - We all know that's what u were doing.
