Would it be possible for the Yellow Army to talk to the Club (Shaun) about this? Perhaps they could put the words on the scoreboard before the game and at half time (and after the final whistle if we win!), with the Yellow Army leading the chant.

No doubt it would take some weeks, but it might catch on.

The last few months have been a very busy time for me, (hence the slow posts),but it hasn`t stopped me from constantly thinking of our team.
It`s been frustrating but the guys are really trying & the on field performances have been a great improvement on last season.
I really shudder to think what would have happened if Okon hadn`t stepped in & turned the culture back in the right direction.
The side is young, they are learning some tough lessons & if they stick together one day they will be a championship contender again.

I think ,as a whole ,we should really support the Mariner`s this week.
To do something special for them as a team & as a club.
To show each player, each coach & every support staff member that we are still with them.
Through thick & thin this is our team!

It would be great to have a song that captures that & the one that does it for me would be the Pretenders hit "I`ll Stand By You"
done in the same vein as Truly ,Madly, Deeply.
I`ve modified the words a bit to suit us & would love to hear all the supporters joining together (in bay 16) with the Yellow Army when the lads walk out singing:-

You obviously haven't heard me sing Dibo it's not a pleasant experience I can assure you We always join in with the chants, I miss the one where we use to chant "we are the Mariners, the mighty mighty Mariners, if you can't hear us we'll yell a little louder"
