ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Good stuff but for the whole crowd something as simple as EDDIE EDDIE when he lines one up would sort of add to the build up. You could lead it with the Mega.

Best part about his free kicks are the build up & excitement. The actual event is a bit like a virgins first go.

The coast chant seemed to pick up all over the ground in the first half or at least the clapping. Plenty seem to like to clap to the band on a couple of chants.

Got anything up your sleeves for the ACL to get the whole crowd involved?
The WDWSF has taken off after the ACL last year because everyone saw what the Wanderers did with it & took your lead & it's now becoming a great crowd chant for the whole stadium (East side was awesome on Friday).

The small intimate setting (all on one side) & basically hardcore fans leaves quite a few open to more participation than a normal A League game in my view.

Remember last year got everyone to stand up but then they all looked at each other & said what we do now.

Maybe a chance to try a couple of things. Obviously not to much as I'm aware you can join the YA if you want to but it just seems to suit those nights IMO.

Will we have the band for the ACL floggings this year?

ACL is usually a good chance to try things, 100% agreed. Am now meeting with the club & other YA reps regularly to come up with new ideas.

Not sure if we'll have the band for our midweek fistings matches... Will speak with them and find out, though I think they have other commitments.

Bugger - Just tell them it's band practice.
Maybe just get them to make a recording & we can play it on a getto blaster
Great good stuff

Yes. As a matter of fact, when I call "who do we sing for", I now expect everyone to reply with "we sing for Reddy". Also, "Central Coast Ole" will now be "Liam Reddy Ole", and "Yellow Football Team" will now be "Liam Reddy Team". Just for you.

Do we have 2 sing 4 reddy?

You don't have to sing for anyone. But Reddy has been one of the best performers for us this year and have saved our butts on plenty of occasions, and most importantly shown to be a team player and not shown any of the C-wordish behaviours that lead to all the hate he has received before.

Before the season started you & most of the other people absolutly dispised him & now you absolutly love him:wub:

Right. Where did I say I "love him"?

He's endeared himself to a lot of people through a good attitude and top performances, sure. I don't give a f**k, you can hate him all you want, but for me he's been a consistent performer in an otherwise dire year.

Well i guess that means you win now i'll just ignore him & pretend he doesn't exist & get on with life

...in an otherwise dire year.

Thanks to the magic of the ignore button, I'm missing half of this conversation (and it appears I'm not missing much), so I'm just in here to note that it's funny that in this 'dire' year we're still 4pts ahead of the scum.

Continue.
