ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

How about pointing to them and singing (to the tune of Lawrie McKinna's Yellow Army):

"Gary von Egmond's dole queue army!"

I don't know if it's been mentioned in any other thread, but the tifo last Sunday arvo looked fantastic. Keep up the good work. I'd love to see those flags pulled out more often during the game.

Thanks for the positive feedback, they will definitely be out more during the game, especially when we get the long rolling on chants going.

Not sure if we'll see anymore streamers tho. I know some people don't like them, but we have to get rid of the ones we do have, and this will be the last year were allowed to have them. Here's hoping common sense prevails in the meantime.

Don't think the streamers went over too well this week TBH.... there were a few incidents, mostly due to the strong wind, where I was thinking that's the last we'll see of them

Well we know for sure that we cant use them in the rain, and I dont think it was windy when we organised it, correct me if I'm wrong. I know what you mean tho, just a bit hard to pick sometimes.

yeah i see! it's got me beat u could wait till game to decide to bring them but it would probably be to late to organise to get them.

Nah, I think the wind picked up after they were thrown. A very small number of streamers made it on to or overhanging the 2nd fence, and I'm pretty sure they were out of the way before kick-off. But as the game wore on the wind picked up and 1 or 2 made it onto the pitch during the first half. That's what i was referring to.

LOL thats a chant from the UK. It was a chant for the Swansea mascot, whos name was Cyril the swan. I dunno why people sung it tho.

It was an awful pop song about Cyril Knowles of Spurs (if mt memory serves me right)

English equivalent of "lets go". Truly awful

What about a return of the easy...
"Sash, score us a goal
sasho, sasho
score us a goal"

Cant get much easier than that for the crowd to pick up
