Its going to be a tough campaign for the Roos on that performance but its a good sign that they can win ugly.

The defence was much improved, esp Moore and Neill.  Carney is useless FB.  Liked the look of  rat faced RB in 2nd half.
Culina was good and Bresciano was improved.  Grella is shit and a liability (i'd start Jedi as defensive mid). Cahill is trying t0o hard but achieving nothing.
Holman looked good and Jesus did some good things and worked hard.

USA game will tell me if I should have a wager on OZ not getting out of group stage.

Grella is not shit and not a liability. If not for him we would have 1 down within the first few minutes. He has actually gained in form over the last few weeks and is looking to peak in 10 days. Seems to be right on track. We need his physical prescence in the mids if we are to keep the score low against Germany.

Also Culia was shite. He is too slow on the ball and on many occasions hesitated when he should have let the pass go. I would love to see a game played without him to see if there is any difference in the speed of play between the mids and our wings and forward. The only time we looked good was when Chippers and Ratboy got down the flanks. Culina ruins the middle.

saw a few reporters on various sites whining about ugly 1-0 wins, i'll take an ugly an ugly 1-0 over us copping a consumate arse kicking every single time....watch 'em change tack if our next ten games are ugly one nil wins....oh and on a side note...KENNEDY USED HIS FOOT !!!..see he can do it

For mine, a win, ugly or not, is miles better than the alternatives, especially when the opposition has some quality. I don't follow European football so I don't know how good the Danes are in comparison to other sides, but they're in the world cup so they can't be too foul.
