ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

If we're in prime position, we get to make the calls. If not, we've got to take whatever we can get.

Agreed. But the clubs themselves have to shake off the 'soccer cringe' that has previously been involved with Football clubs and start demanding to be taken seriously, and not as some novel attraction for the stadia people to use as secondary income.

It would be nice if the Mariners could walk up to Singo tomorrow and plonk a large cheque in front of him and say they want to block book the BT stadium for the whole season and to hell with anyone else. I know that is economically unsound for both parties to go into, but I hope that in the future the stadia people around Australia wake up and realise that the A-League is still going, it is doing OK and that they can get good crowds turning up if the facilities are good, and the pitch is conducive to a good game being played.

If clubs like Adelaide, Melbourne Victory, us, Sydney FC can survive these next 2 or 3 seasons we'll be here for the long haul. Strongly doubt the long term viability of Con's Jets - if that prick keels over the Jets will be tied up in probate for 6 years! I suppose a similar doubt must exist for the GCU with their owner too.

I cannot name the company but it is one of the best known brands in Australia and is heavily into sponsorship of the NRL and other sporting codes.... My friend is in their marketing department and he specializes in sports sponsorship within the company and is one of those people who sits around board meetings as an adviser.

See if this happens as its from the same source....  The next Super 14 to S 15 franchisee is going to Australia and the city is Melbourne with an increase in the media deal. The deal is subject to JON agreeing to certain things  the SAerns want around when it finishes as they run a Curry Cup and have the Curry Cup finals cemented in and are being broadcast and do not want to interfere with this media deal.
