Big night, what a team, what a result, what a crowd, amazing. Fantastic team play. Sammy got chopped to pieces, kept his head up and kept fighting, got his reward.

The chants were ace. We moved down to the bay for the last 15 to join in, couldn't resist. What an atmosphere, so good to see the ground full.

Bay took a while to get going. Lots of newbies standing around on their phones not participating. One of them copped half a can of Carlton Club to the back of their head.

Kudos to Michael on megaphone and Jimmy on drums for going non stop/

Yeah the Parramatta factor is the only turn off for mine and waiting two weeks. Agree an earlier kick of even 5pm would be much better than 7.45pm.

Amazing night. Massive thank you to Monty and Shaun and the rest of the Mariners staff for bringing pride back into the club!
Watching the replay on TV now. Yellow Army sound amazing, it was so great to be in the bay last night (new experience for me having to get my ticket check to get into Bay 16, instead of the old, pick a row and its yours!)
Only negative, can we please get rid of the band, drowns out the noise of the YA. Or set them up in the corner above the away fans to piss them off all game!!!

Monty should be up for the coach of the decade, not coach of the year. I think there is only what Ange did at Brisbane that can compar in the history of the A-League. In the GF on merit playing exciting football with a team put together on a shoestring with two rookie centre backs, players who couldn't get game time at spoon contenders, the most underrated young midfield in the league etc etc?

If the APL had any sense (and I know they don't), they would quickly and quietly change that rule, because it is going to be embarrassing for whoever wins it. Who are they going to give it to instead? Rado for not breaking anything yet at City? Veart, who has spent the last month getting schooled by Monty? The Irish bloke for achieving what should be a par score for a club as well resourced as WSW?

Irankunda was a supposed sensation I beg to differ now!

Everybody was expecting an exciting young wide attacking player to come off the bench and run the opposition ragged, and they were right, that's exactly what they got.

Just the shirt they got wrong though, it was the yellow 31 not the red 66.
