ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Got mine. Huzzah.

As in, in the mail??

As in, an email confirming my seats.

+1 bay 23, row U seat 13

I think it's great how simply and effectively they've handled this "renewing the same seat" process and to get confirmation of your seat number so soon is reassuring.

I've always thought it should be that simple.

Above and beyond that though, a few friends and family requested new seats near mine (not straightforward renewals of their old seats), and were notified of their allocation today... and all four of us have consecutive seat numbers. Sounds absolutely brilliant, almost unbelievable in fact.

As long as they're not just telling everyone what they want to hear, only for further reshuffling to take place before the cards get sent out, then this has worked very well for us...

It is even more remarkable given that they have had massive problems with their new database software.

I was surprised when my email came through on Saturday night confirming my updated seat. Found the whole process this year to be fairly painless.

It was so painless and easy because I bet memberships are way down, and don't go blaming that on the credit crunch  ! Will be lucky to get anywhere near last season memberships.  And Yes I have bought a family pass.

I was told that W is the furthest back row in Bay 23, and the only one under cover. Not sure if that's true.

The under cover bit was sold as a negative, which I thought was odd. Under cover usually means better vocal accoustics, and who can complain about staying dry in a rain storm!

Did you renew in the priority period?

I renewed a few days before the end, with extra seat needed, and got confirmation within 7 days i believe.

SPIN And Mariners members are set to benefit too, with every Mariners member entitled to a free, reserved seating ticket to either match like, we would be expected to pay for a home  game that's not at home at all and that will probably cost up to $100 to get to! Some benefit!

SPIN As with previous seasons, the Mariners have a high concentration of home fixtures throughout the December and January period of the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 season or, to put it another way, of the first fifteen rounds from August 6th to Nov 21st Mariners fans will get to see the team play at home just four times...
SPIN The Mariners currently foster close links with football in Canberra through an association with Capital Football in a bid to expand the Mariners Canberran fan base and interact with many of the ACTs 17,000-strong base of registered footballers. Unless, of course, Canberra get an A League licence which they are currently aggressively seeking.

Why didn't Lyall simply say because of the sub standard pitch at Blue Tongue we aplogise to all our loyal fans for the inconvenience of having to move two fixtures to Canberra. We know that many will not be able to attend because of the extra cost and inconvenience and as a consequence we will offer Members free tickets to these two fixtures...
