reading the newcastle herald today and they were bagging out con because he had the opportunity to show off the grand final trophy at the newcastle show (60000 people went through the gates) but chose to leave it in sydney

they also had their assistant coach and a 16 year old player open the show as jets representatives because no one else would do it

how embarassing

this is horrible they shouldve had Jade, Covic and GVE do the honours instead because while they are despicable people, they are gods amongst Newcastles footballing fraternity. The FFA do need to find someway of removing Con and making the Jets a public company whether it be revoking his license and starting up a new Newcastle club or offering Con a decent takeover bid and placing the club under its own administration while it is publicly listed

They nearly got him a year or so back - if they continue to implode, expect more "admin" queries to be raised to try and force him out.

I would have thought that there must be people eyeing off Newcastle because of its undoubted football heritage and potential.

All they need to do is find a rule he's broken and revoke his license.

according to press statement the player with GVE was Jobe Wheelhouse, who is a local.

trophy is down with con but we dont need it

we will always be 07/08 champs

Interesting that you separate Con and the Club - subconcious acceptance of reality perhaps.

All loathing of your lot aside, a region with the Football heritage of the Hunter deserves better than the 2 bob spivs currently running the place.

The sooner he goes the better (and more sustainable) your club will be.

This morning's Football Fever said the scum are about to unveil Ljubo Milicevic as their latest signing on a one year deal.. couldnt find the story on the website to post in here but it was on there! hmm...
and it also said the exodus of jets players leaving isnt quite over yet with Avispa (i think it is) about to table a formal offer for him.. ohhh i looove watching them fall apart

Mate it is like this every year and who knows, we could get better players for next season.

I have learned with this club, this is a natural thing, we have a team then sack half of them

Dont count a team by the sum of the players lost
Ask me this when we have finished out recruitment then i tell you.
