I think a few decisions by Smith he regrets. McGregor for Alexander and not playing Novo for a start. Much rather see Boyd start over Darcheville. I know Boyd cops a lot for carrying a few extra kilos which might be the reason he doesnt start often.

He was great for the club and will be sorely missed. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did after seeing him last year.
Unless his funeral is on Saturday I don't understand postponing Saturdays game? I'm sure Eddie would rather had the game played. Black armbands and a minute silence would be more respectful. IMO

Eddie was definitely a "game must go on" man although this must be extra tough on the family since his son in law was also killed in an accident at the weekend.Teddy Bear said:

Rangers: Everyone Is Thinking About Treble
Maurice Edu insists Rangers are unwilling to settle for anything less than a domestic treble this season.
With no European football following a shock early exit from the Champions League, the United States international says the prospect of a domestic clean-sweep is acting as the driving force.
Rangers play host to Hamilton in the Co-operative Insurance Cup tonight, hoping to book a place in the last four and take another step closer to a successful defence of the first silverware of the campaign.
"When I came here, I wanted to win championships and everyone here has the same mentality," Edu said.
"Whether it's this competition or the league, you want to win. We are in a good position right now and we just have to keep that going and get the win against Hamilton.
"Everyone is thinking about the treble - we are all winners here and we all have the winning mentality.
"For us, that's our aim, to do well in all three and win three trophies. That's the motivation."
Edu has featured in just one game - last month's 2-1 win over Kilmarnock - since his summer switch from Toronto FC.
"It's something you have to deal with," he said.
"Every footballer wants to play and I knew coming into this team that it was a winning team.
"There was a lot of talent in the midfield already and the summer signings mean the level in there has increased.
"I knew it was going to be a competitive environment and that it would be difficult to get on the field.
"But it's something I'm looking forward to and I feel it's something that will benefit me. I knew the situation and I've just been training hard and remaining patient.
"It's a good level, it's definitely a step up from the MLS, where I was before. It's competitive, it's fast and it's a hard, physical game.
"I think I've done decent to adjust so far and I feel more comfortable in training than I did when I first got here.
"As time goes on, hopefully I'll get some games which will help me to continue to develop."
Edu is hoping for a run-out tonight against a Hamilton side who proved to be tough opposition for Rangers in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League on Saturday, before eventually succumbing to a 3-1 defeat.
"I'm hoping it works out that way," he said.
"Every week I just try to prepare myself in the event that my name is called.
"It's been no different this week, my preparation has been the same and I've just been working hard in training."

I see the quality of posts from those of non-blue persuasion has not improved in my time away. The trouble with this forum bizzo is it's in black and white and can come back more than often to bite ye on the bum!!! You'll look a right numpty Skillbeck if the Gers do happen to go on and win the Treble this season.

I think he has jumped on the rangers bandwagon like most of them do. Highlighting the achievments of what is to come from best team in the world surely now makes him a blue nose. Well done Skilbeck welcome aboard
