Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Didn't see the game, but judging by the BBC report, it sounds like we got a raw deal as regards the penalty decision and "offside" goal.

I suppose we didn't help ourselves by having a slow start, and letting them get out to a 2-0 lead, but even so.....yet another trip to Glasgow and yet another 5 star performance by the "Weegies Are Us" Refereeing association....what more can you say??!!! Bloody daft, mind you, that the game was actually being played so close to the Uefa Cup Final, but that's just my tuppence worth on a slightly off-topic point.

Aside from that, I'll still support Rangers on Wednesday, not just because they are a Scottish side, but also because they are actually playing a few Scots these days - the same guys we cheer on for the national team. They'll have to be on form to stop the speedsters of Zenit, but if I'm not mistaken, their centre forward will miss out because of suspension...????

In my opinion thats a good thing. Cousin is overated and an idiot to match. Did the head butt thing again last night. First booking and stayed on this time.

What Teddy Bear said for most things, it's interesting that the media are all on Dundee United's side here (or perhaps against Rangers) when they didn't give a damn for terrible refereeing in the Old Firm.

Cousin being out is a plus, won't have some idiot taking us down to ten men. Hopefully Boyd will be fit too.

Cousin was lucky that Wilkie is not an Italian or he would have been red carded!!
Interesting to see the difference in the reactions to the two headbutts.........the Fiorentina guy went down like a big Jessie and Wilkie just stood there and said something like "come on then ya c**t!!"........it was quite funny actually!

Anyway I,ve calmed down a bit now.......got all the aggression out of the system I think!
I retract what I said about the UEFA Cup Final.........I actually do hope you win it.As mustapha said they are playing a number of Scottish players these days and it can only be good for the Scottish game.
Now that our season is over we,ll probably do Rangers a favour and beat Celtic for the first time in quite a while!

Actually meant the Zenit centre forward - the lanky guy that scored 2 against Bayern Munich. Am sure someone told me he'd picked up a 2nd yellow.

Was forgetting that Cousin was also going to miss out, though....anyway, I predict Rangers will win the league and cup, but lose to Zenit....don't particularly WANT them to lose, but that's just what I think will happen.

Ahh yep he's suspended, scored the equaliser in a friendly against Alkmaar. They seem a bit lost without him, but still very difficult.

Arab - Cousin should have been red carded, very bad call, the man is an idiot. Like I said though we have one game where it goes Rangers way and all the refs are cheats and the SPL loves Gers, Celtic have had it all year.

Im guessing thats a nice quadruple that the rangers have :p
Might not be a treble either! They dropped 2 pts at Motherwell tonight.Celtic are now 3 pts in front with a far better goal difference and Rangers only have one game in hand.
Rangers at StMirren on Monday....shouldn,t drop points there....then Rangers at Aberdeen and Celtic at DUFC on the last day(Thursday).
Looks like you,ll lose the league at Tannadice on the last day skilbeck!! :headbounce:

Rangers beat StMirren overnight as expected and so it goes down to the last day.

Rangers obviously outright favourites as Celtic have to go to Tannadice!! :headbounce:

then arabmariner awakes from his dream to find Dundee United severely thrashed for good measure

Interesting that Motherwell have, at least partially, scuppered Rangers plans for the title.....at least you can't accuse them now of favouring 1 half of the Weegies over the other......

Can't see either of them slipping up, but hope in Celtic's case that I'm wrong....

C'MON THE TANGERINES!!!! FARKEN!!!!!

Not that I support any of the teams, but you'd have to laugh if Rangers only ended up with the one trophy after all their bleating about a quadruple.  Gits.
