So disappointing not to get that win against Sydney last ffa cup, feel like we could have gone on a long run that campaign. But, better for it now and I’m sure we can go a lot further next time

Not saying it is bad, just stating the fact that A league clubs generally lose a lot of money playing in this cup.

That’s where the club needs to promote it and get more bums on seats. I remember going to mid week ACL games and only a few thousand turned up. Pretty sure I recall O’Donovan missing a pen in his first game for us.

The drivers started each half strong... For about 5 minutes. Then we got right in their faces and smacked them around. Best game since we owned and commanded wsw earlier this season. Same level of commitment, skill and execution of tactics.

Have to let 2nd place sink in. Not only are we there at seasons end we deserve it. Brilliant. Also highest goals ever scored in a season at 55.

We have competed in the AFC Champions League 5 times. It is sad that it never generated a great deal of interest if past attendances can be taken as an indication.
Amazing really, considering that the equivalent in Europe is the trophy that every club wants to win.

Doesn’t help we’re disconnected from Asia culturally, but that’s a marketing problem. Not just high level advertising, but a real ongoing marketing challenge. Respect or excitement for a cup with so much history won’t appear overnight without education and nurturing.

Give a flyers to every club to distribute to all players....

See what schools will place on notice boards....

Get some volunteers at railway stations...

Create some kinda competition between key Coast media companies for the CEO to take the ball out on the first game....
