ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

it suits our agenda. also no matter what they do they still have to live in newcastle. so whatever, they need the little wins for morale and to distract them from main roads of boarded over shopfronts.

A Jest / Shity draw would sit better with me and still suit our agenda. We'd be 2 points behind Shity and then leapfrog them the following week.

true, and a very possible outcome. old snakey mate is out for four weeks with his groin injury. I believe there is also a bit of a wrist injury that happened at the same time.

One game at a time please, first we need to put two wins together then I will start thinking big. Still remember the downer the game after slaying the smurfs to get too keen yet.

Whilst Perth have a longer injury list than some teams’ starting XI, we underestimate them at our peril and they definitely showed their resilience last round.

Hoping that PO has reinforced the need to maintain the standard we set in both wins and if we can do that, we can definitely wind up with all three points.

Any word on Astroboy’s fitness yet?

I have a good feeling about this game ...

If Astroboy is not fit then for me its TTB up front he scored last week and it seemed to lift a mountain off his back... if he is back with confidence and by now realises he has to work for and prove he is a first team starter then potentially he becomes that player we saw briefly who has the world at his feet.

I understand the cork that DDS picked up in the Nux game has prevented him training until yesterday, so fingers crossed he will be ok for the game or we might struggle without him.

Hoole would move central and add a right winger if DDS was not playing or not able to play a full game.

So while it would be a step back and he is starting to shine he is one position I feel we can cover with Hoole who played well there in preseason

The build up to this game by the club has been exemplary. I was explaining to my wife what the club is doing in regards to marketing. My wife hates sports. Always has. She said if we lived on the coast she'd be all over the things they have put in place for this game.
Star wars or having something for everyone?

KGJ with the whistle, Strebre on the VAR VAR Binks

Perth still missing half their squad, have only named one additional reserve instead of the regulation two.
