ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

it's an old warren ryan (rugby league) call ."you don't wear a dinner suit to a street fight".
trust me. james bond wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes in the western suburbs A grade comp of the 70's.
and i'd put a 100 on malcom reily as being the toughest pom i've ever seen.
just queitly

I will back either Vince Karalius or Rocky Turner and give you 10 to 1 odds.

I'll tip the Mariners to win. At this moment you've got momentum on your side (as I've said on my blog), which is useful when other teams seem to be falling on top of each other in the scramble for finals places. Sure, Adelaide United haven't lost since their 7-1 humiliation in Brisbane (and they won't be the only team to endure that), but they are pretty ropable this season reverting back to their "bad old ways".

So a win will consolidate 2nd place, and then you might be dreaming of a second straight Grand Final.

Amini carving (best game he's ever played so far), drawing defenders, space out wide, looks like last year at our best.

Keep it up.

We want 5. :eek:verhead:

This is the reason why I watch football. A simply beautiful free flowing intelligent display with not a poor player on the night. I knew Adelaide were weakened but I still was wary of a banana skin but right from the outset the Mariners had come to play. The passing was quick and incisive, the movement full of purpose. The defensive structure was superb, the front line defence denied Adelaide time and when they had possession we swarmed all over them. Griffiths dominated at both ends and set the platform for Amini to weave his magic. It is the best I have seen Amini play – he is quicker, stronger and better at taking players on. Ibini-Isei was right up there too, a real handful, quick, strong and skilful and a really nice finish to his goal. And behind them the dominant brute that is Zwaanswijk. I thought the whole team could have been awarded the MoM with special mention for Wilkinson who had to wait until the 86th minute to make his first significant contribution such was the team’s domination. Bojic was immense with incredible runs down the right, McGlinchey was skilful as ever, Hutch very involved, Simon worked non-stop without reward and how McBreen didn’t make it 5 I don’t know.
MoM – marginally to Amini but strong challenge from Griffiths and Ibini.
*loved the Fox comment that at 0-3 Adelaide now had the opportunity to come back to 3-3 as the Jedi Mariners did LOL

Wow. Just wow. The Mariners were more than worth their win and this is some of the best football I've ever seen from them.

United were beyond abysmal. Rini Coolen has taken them backwards and they're even worse than Vidmar's worst seasons.

And some of my thoughts.

Let's give some credit straight away to our management team
with all the off park talk about $$$$dominating the media
here we see our team with a level of focus
that would have gone close to sweeping the Roar off the park.

Congratulations to staff and a great performance by all players.

I just can't wait for next week.

PS> If there is any investors out there...... How could you loose with a setup like this

Get on board and bring your $$$$$$

Awesome stuff! We were attacking right from the start and ruthless in front of goal. Hopefully the focus from some of our fans will be on the win this week and not on their personal issues with Mariners management.
