Is anyone going to this? Any tips for Pubs, food and then celebrating afterwards?

I'm predicting a 2-1 win to us with Olly in for Hutch, and Ryan in for Pasfield. Pelles to drop from the bench. I think Arnie will persevere with Bernie up front as it has been successful thus far. Mcbreen, Hearfield, Hutch on the bench.

Adelaide without Cassio, Vidosic and Boogard; sounds like a game we should win but also a potential banana skin. Ollie will definitely replace Hutch. Bojic will spend the week in passing drills...

I hope Hutch starts. Ollie has been truly terrible this season, for both club and country. Has not played a single good game.

Ollie is important to us as the year rolls on. We know Hutch can do a job. My take on Ollie is twofold.

1) He is not a DM and should not be playing there for the Olyroos. In the initial formats put forward by Vidmar he was put down as at the base of a midfield triangle with Nichols alongside him. The Olyroos though have played with only Ollie at the base. This is just not his forte.

2) He is really suited to playing down the left and linking with Rose WHEN Amini (or last year Perez and Amini) had the defence in two minds whether they were going to pass or probe forward themselves. This gave the wide guys more room as they remaining wary about our #10.

I would play Ollie and Amini together from the start and see if he comes good. I suspect he will. If he doesn't then you can hook him and play Hutch.

I thought Ollie played reasonably well in the 0-0 away to Iraq; he is not helped by so many Olyroos not being up to standard. I like Hutch but his best days are well gone and I doubt he will keep his spot unless Ollie is deemed tired or injured.
On another note - Mat Ryan looked completely at ease in both games for the Olyroos.

My sis is flying over here for the game, we'll be going to the Wheatsheaf hotel, a leisurely 15-minute walk, before and after the game. We'll be the ones with a big handmade CCM flag in the "panda-free zone" away bay, if anyone wants to say hello - no vidosic, no cassio, a creaky van Dyk, no Boorgard and of course every time Ramsay takes a corner near us he'll get to hear "you're just a sydney reject" - lets kick their sorry red arses ole!

p.s - don't ask for a schooner - you'll be disappointed.

Abolute Rubbish. Olly was the best player on the park against victory. The boy is vastly superior to Hutch and is capable of opening sides up better than anyone else in our squad.

I'm not saying that Hutch is better, but sometimes a couple of games on the sideline can act as a good kick up the backside for a player that's normally guaranteed a starting place. I'm only talking short-term here.

. unfortunately i think the game against victory was the exception this year. in that gamne he was fantastic - imo, generally he has been pretty ordinary

Hate these kinda games when you are expected to win... they have everything going against them... and often what happens...

I just get images of James Bond when you mention a dinner suit and he would smash anyone in any situation, so I'm hoping we do turn up in a dinner suit LOL ;D

I'd rather a dinner suit than the stubbies & thongs we wore against Fold Coast. We were expected to win that one too, we just fell over the line for a point.
