ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Brown copped a knock towards the end of the game also. He might be in doubt too.

We need a big win this weekend to cement our top 4 placing. 3-1 Mariners.

Just please don't make this game another dull 1-0 loss, I am so pumped after Saturday and would like this feeling to continue longer than one week. Thanks Lawrie.

3-1 Travis McCallister and Doig

Doig??? are you just pulling names out of a hat?  ;)
From a corner kick. But thanks for having faith. maybe you will realize that "sometimes" not only strikers score goals.

in our case just one striker

our defenders have scored as many goals as our defenders and our midfielders more

I have faith that Doig will stop the goals, not score them. Still, I hope your right, I'd love to see him score, but I'd love to see a striker score more than a defender.

Yeah... its a hard one to call this.
But some of the kiwi squad problems could be significant for us.
Even with Ifill I think we have what it takes to shut them down - but much happier without him on the park. Daniel Meh, Caceres will be happy though as you think he may even start then.
But having McKain and even more so Brown out for me is a big bonus.

I think if we turn up upfront an creatively in the mids we'll take this one.
When we talk consistency - we have been defensively quite consistent, it's attack, fast movement with the ball and creativity where we have been lacking...

Worried Nicky travis may fall flat after a monstrous showing last week. Easy to do for a young player who finally gets his shot and comes good. if he puts in another quality performance I think he may turn into something quite special for us.

Weemac, they are bound to be trying to shut him out as our creative lynchpin. Think he's in for  a physical game with Herbert in charge.

As to Matty and Macca...

Its simple, if they are both in form... we will win.

I'm liking Bears attitude...

Mariners 3 - 1

I fancy us for this game....2.0 as long as Lawrie puts out same well balanced side again.

Can't see any changes been made for this week, unless there are any injuries. Maybe a change on the bench though, with Crowell coming in? Hard even getting on the bench at the moment.Good sign. I can see a few suspensions coming up though, i think Travis and Hutch at least are sitting on 2 yellows.
Anyone know when Huke is matchfit again?

Wrong code big guy!!! Judging by the f**king animals who played that under 16 GF in western sydney on the weekend!!!
No, I got it right. The young hoodlums (and their parents) were playing League, and we already know the sheep-lovers can't play League - look where the Wimps (sorry, Warriors) finished the season.

A win is the only acceptable result this weekend. To go from thumping the crap out of the "best team" to failing to beat the second-last (soon to be last) team in the comp just will not do. Especially as we come up against the lesser Bling the following week.

Agreed, and the only thing I'd love to see more is the Mariners premiers & champions.
I was calling Shebangabang last only in the short-term, after we flog them and Fowlerville has a win.
BTW, has Sasho scored for the scum yet? I know he got a couple in ACL, but nothing in HAL yet?
Looks like CCM got it right!
