ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

its such a strange fixture, we had real trouble scoring against them last season when all we did was score goals...

it will be 0-0 or they win 1-0 or we will win 0-4!

they have a different team to last year and they have been playing better than ever

i can see us hitting them on the counter 0-2

the match last december is burnt in my memory! only to see the jets win!!!
i hope history does not repeat, another 3-0 would be good, give us a good for and against

If we can maintain our form from last week ,we will romp it in . But if we continue on our good week/bad week formula, Sheepshaggers will take the game 0-1

Very tough game this one. Welly are undefeated at home for a long time and they are a better side this season.

We always struggle there so I hope people don't start blowing head gaskets again if we don't get three points.

I'm with Mick.

We always find them hard to play and they will press and close down much better than GCU did.

It also depends which CCM team turns up. If its the Brisvegas/Adelaide side, we are in trouble. If its the Melb/GCU team, we can win.

A dour 1-1 draw here

Just scoring against them would be good.

Last time we beat their 'keeper was 19th Jan 08, 2-0 at BT. Last time we scored against them in Welly was 21st Oct 07, also the last time we beat them over there.
Since Jan 08 we've had two 0-0 draws (including the game at Dubbo this year) and three 0-1 results.

I work with a number of Kiwis and I dearly want to tell them "You might be able to play Thugby, but you can't play football!"

i think we out class them on the park.
we have to have a simular game plan as we did last week and make sure we do all the "little" things right and hustle "on and off the ball"

keeping leo Bertos quiet will also help

Depends how we play as to how the head gasket fairs.

Wrong code big guy!!! Judging by the f**king animals who played that under 16 GF in western sydney on the weekend!!!

I'll take anything a loss, a draw, the three points as long as we can get some consistency in the way we play. I think that this is a huge test to back up the performance from last week. Lets hope we can do it!
