I hate to say it but surely Hoole has to start next week.... Pain as well... And maybe McGing if Hiariej isn't back in.

next week at the league leaders it should be back to basics. That's what should have happened today.
Name a back four and play with a back four to cut out all the space for the attackers.
Looked like a lot of the time we were playing with a back three with either Rowles or Clisby jogging back.
shouldn't have been any need for them to go forward so far with five in midfield.

someone this morning in the thread mentioned parking the bus. I'm not a fan of that, but perhaps that what we should have done.

I actually think Cisse would do a decent job as an enforcer in midfield. I think he played most of his career there, and he can't be worse than Melling. When Apsro is fit Cisse could be a decent option in midfield for some games with Hiariej and O'Neill ahead of him.

This has happened a LOT over the last few seasons.

I'm starting to wonder if there's a culture problem at the club beyond the coach. I can't imagine how there could be, I'm just trying to figure out how we've gone from one of the proudest histories, to the joke of the league.

......that might actually work. He gets to float up to the front now and then to add to the numbers and win headers, hang up there for corners and free kicks, and make a constant nuisance of himself just in front of our backs.

There is no real pressure on the players here on the Coast. Players at the bigger teams know they have to give their all every week, or suffer the consequences.
