So, a kull was tipped so Sully started with nil strikers , so, that’s 5 -5-1 and we were only down1-0 at smoko, that fkn smurf ecky addict invaded the pitch and almost gave the fat controller a coronary....2nd half we slightly improved with movement, with Lachie, Budgie and Painy doing their bit which funnily enough led to us equallising, Rose the Elder did pretty good , Hell even Rose the younger had his moments , sadly that fkn Ginga albino from East Gosford nearly killed Kennedy then arsed a goal with bugger all time left...I tipped a 1-1 finish, but what can you do....hopefully Sully has worked something out for next game ...2 final things BoBo is a clowns name and didn’t the underdogs look like fkn shit...they ain’t winning no dunny seat this year...OH YEAH one more thing how come every time a smurf got a cramp the trainer came on and when our boys cramped we were lucky if the ref stopped play

SFC tired and we released the tight back 5 and came home strong and the fans loved it. first time I’ve cheered and done the Mariners clap clap with gusto for a long time.

Outclassed but a little tactical trickery caused some headaches and he played alright.

Wout has to be #10 next. Nice assist and there was some desperate defence getting back late for some clearing headers.

Gutted for the boys that they lost.

As for Mat go ahead and celebrate, after the idiots booed him a couple of years ago he ows us nothing. If any Southern Mariner was going to do it I’m glad it was him. He gave everything while he was here and got disrespected on his return.

It's not like Simon left of his own accord, we let him go. I can't imagine just how hard that must have been for him, probably as heart breaking as it is seeing him run over to the Sydney fans after burying us in the last minute of the game.

. Sully re-cut the training schedule and now has 30 mins a week allocated for tactics* ... a 20% improvement after only 3 days!

We played with NO striker. Pain and Hoole would occasionally come into the middle.

First half we parked the bus and created almost no chances but we defended quite well.

Rowles was excellent in fact my MOM.

Once Lachie came on and we played him in his natural position we finally started to spark up.

It makes me angry to see the stupidity Okon and Greedy Jolic carried on all yearwith when a novice like Sully can show improvement after one week.

I'm told Okon lost the changing room and the senior players called him out for being a useless twat.........they were not wrong.

OK. I Don’t post on here often but I read regularly. I am as disappointed as everyone as to how the last three seasons have panned out. There is plenty to be critical about and plenty to take pride in. There is no hiding from the fact that the club is at a critical crossroad and needs some comittment and wisdom from those that hold control and power. As a fan my frustration and disappointment has been clearly visible in my house because like everyone who contributes to this forum, I desperately want a successful Mariners. Tonight was as Cruel as our beautiful game can get. We deserved at least a point and the script was written by those who despise the existence of a small regional club at the expense of the old Npl clubs. What I saw tonight however was a group of players who took pride in their club to at times outplay a side who will go down as one of the greatest Australian club sides. We showed that we are not far away from being properly competitive. Like many I’m sure I went tonight not expecting points but looking for a collective reaction to a difficult situation. I saw that and I think any Mariner fan can take pride in tonight’s performance,despite the cruel finish. To those fans who felt they needed to show their frustration by not attending tonight, I would ask that you reflect and reassess what being a fan means. Through thick and thin. We are unique in having a regional area in a National sporting competition and I have in my head that all Coasties should be behind the Mariners. Best wishes to Shaun as he tries to steady the ship but rest assured you will have me as a member next year because I am a fan. Well done to the players tonight, you deserved more. COYY.

Well @FFC Mariner there really is no more clash. TBH I would encourage everyone to go along to Pluim to support both the CCMA and CCUFC.
