Round 24: CC Mariners vs Fold Coast

I went to see Sydney versus Gold Coast yesterday for some non TV live football.  The new blingers owned the old blingers, much more than the 0-1 scoreline.  Will be very tough game this time on Friday. Key, man mark Culina and close down their midfield.

We pretty much had the better of them both previous games with similar tactics. My fear is that Joel Porter is starting to come good.

Doig isnt quick enough to man mark Smeltz though.

Wilko on Smeltz and Doig on Porter. Pedj to show massive respect to Culina by snapping him v early on (he said he wants respect).

When Pedj has hurt him enough to make him drop deep (usual tactic when he bottles it) and/or he gets on a yellow. The forwards can continue the work and we can also bring Crowell on for a hatchet job.

Every game now is vital. A draw would do me with Perth away( I think) next up. If we can get a draw out of this one then a win against Perth would possibly get us into the top 6. Important now that we build some momentum and although we aren't winning we are unbeaten in two. Lucky that Perth and Brisbane are struggling as well otherwise we'd be looking cactus. As it stands one win will have us back in contention.

Friday night sucks for alot of people hoping for a big crowd of 9000 but i think we will be lucky to get 5000. Please people come to the game and watch the boys win leave work early have a sick day do whatever it takes just were your yellow and get to the game. GO YOU YELLOW show them who the real coast is.

Really hope you can sneak a point,  but I just can't see it at all. Keeping it to one goal is about as good as it gets for this one. GCU are underrated.

Sorry if someone already posted this but.. Does the tv add for this week not say that the game is on Saturday not Friday? Like I was confussed but I do relise that the game is Friday. Has anyone else seen it???

Last day of work tomorrow, have to fly back up on Saturday, We are probably not going to win but I will be there. Wouldn't miss it.

Think I'll check out the youth as well, better than streaming it like the last few games.
