ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Dont forget you owe them a few beers Justin coz you boys were gonna get mugged by those Sydney f**ktards. You also owe PP a smoke on the peace pipe.
Your little crew can be very important to Bay 16 but remember your current level and be respectful.

No one knows but Pete confronted those eight Sydney supporters by himself outside the Leagues Club after the game, while we were escorting the CC16 out of the vicinity.

He did this despite some horrible stuff and lies said about him on social media and chat groups.

I don’t want to drag that stuff out here on this forum but there has to be more than “let’s meet in the middle” for anything constructive to happen.

That’s the sort of guy PP is Mick but compromise has to start somewhere and if both sides can give a little, perhaps it starts the process towards a united active support, which has to be a good thing surely?

I don’t see the need for one group to be honest. Both groups want something different out of their match day experience.

I am sure that eighteen year olds don’t want to hang around forty year olds and vice versa. I just don’t have the energy and willingness to chant and jump around all game. I like my spot that gives the best of what is generally a shitty view and I am also not one hundred percent in the bay.

We have been bouncing off each other’s chants and that’s fine. CC16 just needs to get a little bigger so they can be more active.

I am all for compromise and have been more than conciliatory in these discussions but I am asking more than “let’s meet in the middle” given some of the horrible things that have been said.

That said I don’t speak for the YA. They have been around longer than I have been part of it. I know the individuals and had many a discussion and they are livid with some of the antics. They just have the class not to publicly air it.

2 groups is alright, nothing wrong with it. But while one group is up the back and the other down the front it makes the bay look bad. Fair enough there has been a whole heap of crap go on. Every group has their troubles and I played a key roll in that petty shit. Wised up and apologised. Said a lot of shit out of anger etc etc, I wonder if those Sydney lads would’ve done the same if the Coastie Boys were there..?

That is disturbing that the police are so dumb that they chuck them out of the ground and then just left them there to start fights outside the ground. Very poor policing.

Well done to PP and YA by the sound of it.

Have never met PP in person, but what a bloody legend.
Why can’t the fans of this calibre be the millionaires that own football clubs?

he was excellent? I cannot believe the hate he copped on here.
He looked like he cared a f**k tonne more than most in the squad.
As a person who posted 'hate', I'll clarify. Yes, he worked hard but he makes the wrong decisions in attack and gives the ball away way too much, without creating chances. For a player in his position, I believe he played poorly. Incidentally fans picked Nisbet as player of the week over DDS.

I picked Kim over them both.

yeah look he 100% needs to score and create more. But he’s fighting so hard for the badge and I rate that pretty high for a bloke who’s had a pea heart in the past.
Perhaps the amount of pressing and chasing is hindering his decision making later in matches.

The calibre of player he is has truly shone through particularly in this losing spell. We’re lucky to have him. And should enjoy him while it lasts.
According to the Sydney FC Fan Forum, he's a play-actor and he "nearly broke Wilko's leg".

I tend to disagree.

yeah the tackle on Wilko you see all the time. It was nasty, but only because of the timing and angle on Wilko’s support leg.

That said, Kim has some devil in him and likes to give a bit. But every side needs some mongrel.
