I’m hopeful but definitely not three points in the bank. They look a better team than last season and we all know Ufuk can manage. If our speed and front three are clinical we are a good chance. Adelaide didn’t really test them defensively in my opinion.

So why didn’t Moss get a toilet seat after Arnie then? It still takes a decent manager to retain a certain level of play, but Moss proved you can trash it quickly as well.

Bear in mind he led us to 3rd in his first season at the helm, in spite of the core of our side leaving - Bozanic (who?), Zwaanswijk, Bojic, Ryan, Ibini, Sains, McBreen, and McGlinchey all leaving at some point during the season, as well as Andrew Clark. Brisbane/Sydney arguably didn’t have anywhere near that level of upheaval for Mulvey and Corica’s respective championships.
